A quick comment: Back to LV-I Voltron Homepage This is my first die cast Matchbox Lion Voltron III. I got him on May Xvii, Mmvi and it cost me $CXXV (with the regular version). Voltron had always been parted of me...I'm glad to own him. As a kid, I had always want to own the Voltron Lion but never had the finance to get one.
VOLTRON - DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE: -VOLTRON III: Voltron Of The Far Universe- Opening Intro: "From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend. The legend of Voltron: Defender of the Universe! A mighty robot. Loved by good, feared by evil. As Voltron's legend grew, peace settled across the galaxy. On planet Earth, a galaxy alliance was formed. Together with the good planets of the solar system, they maintained peace throughout the universe. Until a new horrible menace threatened the galaxy. Voltron was needed once more. This is the story of the super force of space explorers. Specially trained and sent by the Alliance to bring back Voltron: Defender of the Universe."
- Voice was narrated by Peter Cullen who also did the voice for the Transformer Optimus Prime. NOTE: In the Vehicle Voltron intro, the yellow sentence was replaced by "And trusted by the Alliance with the ancient secret of how to assemble" |

R-2 Instruction Sheet: This is the 6 inch miniature of the Matchbox lion Voltron III not to be confused with the regular transformable Matchbox Lion Voltron III. The entire figure is all painted with an exception to the crest at the chest which is a sticker. 6 inch Lion Voltron is a scale down version and it does not have the capability to separate into their lion components. It is basically one piece action figure and does not come with any accessory. If you want the accessories, you would have to purchase it separately. The version you want to purchase for the 6 inch miniature Lion Voltron is the "Miniature Blazing Sword Set - Assortment #400702". Unlike the regular version, there is no special gimmick in the 6 inch miniature Voltron. So with that, no firing lion head out or ear open up. The other minor let down is the paint application at the lion jaws weren't painted correctly. On the bright side, it's has plenty of die cast metal and it's small enough to display anywhere. |
