Carol, Ed and I started walking this event at 7am while it was still a little dark. We decided to walk the route backward rather than tackle the woods in the semi-dark. There is a map on the directions which made walking it backwards a snap.

Walk starts at the Stagecoach Inn.

Dam on Salado Creek.
	I was trying to get a picture of Sirena the mermaid. The statue represents a legendary Indian maiden who was transformed into a mermaid by a magical fish.

Pond usually has a waterfall, but there wasn't one today.
	Trail is a little overgrown.

	The last section of trail was nice.
