Welcome to Chaplain Steve's Place. My name is Steve Janke. I served in the Air Force at Cam Rahn Bay from Oct 197o-Oct 1971 as a Sentry dog handler for the 483rd Security Police Squadron. I was married just prior to shipping out into Vietnam. I had just turned 21 when I arrived there.
This site shares the scope of my experience in the Vietnam War, and is dedicated to the group that served with me and to all those amazing War Dogs we had the privilege of working with.
