The Altar



About the Altar

The altar is a Pagans place of worship; a sacred space that they use to pray, perform magick, and connect with thier personal and the universal deity. A quick run down of the Altar is that the right side is the God, the Left is the Goddess. Approximately in the middle towards the back is where you will have a place for Universal, or your personal deities. In the front is where one would use as a space to practice magick. You can think of your altar most simply as a Sacred Space, a place of perfect love and perfect trust where you keep your ritual tools, candles, magickal supplies and other things that are important to you. For example: On my altar I keep a statue of a dragon because it reminds me of my brother.(Who is in the Army at the moment, Goddess Protect him).
