Prison!
Inside these walls,
in sorrow and despair,
one thoughtless deed
that brought me there.
My thoughts weren't only
for peace and joy,
just things I could destroy!
In prison!
There's no doubt,
it will be five years
before I get out.
I'm a number now,
not a name.
Isn't that a shame.
Each evening,
I kneel in prayer,
asking God, hoping
soon I will be set free
from this prison there.
A Thought For Today!
Goodness pays off,
not wrongness.
