Icy water
surrounds my body,
Glance my way,
notice me
being foolish,
splashing around
to preserve
the few degrees
of heat
left within my body
(nothing can cure
this frigid night)
But then
you swam
beside me,
bringing the sun
and carrying
your smile
in your pocket
Then you splash
the world
with your vibrant colors
painting me
and helping me
to live
