Peanut butter sandwiches
for the girl
who abandoned her dreams
inside of him.
She must torture
her temple
to embrace the strength
she possessed
before this trust
calloused her spirit
and hoped
she was as weak
as children her age
Therefore,
peanut butter sandwiches
are the forgiveness
for the young lady
as she experiences
hatred
deeper
than the love
others have known
