There is no where to go,
no where to hide,
when the face of death
comes lurking out of night.
When the sun goes down we begin to change.
Not so nice, no,
quite insane.
Monsters and madmen walk the streets at night.
There's no where to go,
no where to hide.
No where to run and no where to cry.
In the darkness they fall.
From the shadows they call.
In the moon light I crawl...
away.
I stand on a cliff over looking a city of doom.
Nothing I can do before we're all consumed
by death.
I look into a river of blood
trying to see what's not there.
Death seeps through my fingers,
I taste him in the air.
Madmen and monsters scream for my blood.
I'm a child until I grow up.
When I scream no one hears.
As I try to fight all my fears.
Too late to hold back the tears.
I have no where to hide,
I can not disappear.
The time is soon.
All is going to end.
What's the chance of starting again?
I've been silent all my life.
Now as death sinks in like a knife
I call to you.
No one hears so I run faster.
Alone alone I run...
Faster faster.
Monsters and madmen on my heels.
No one knows how I truly feel
about life.
My life is over.
Or has it just begun?
I want to smash their faces.
Their mocking faces.
Their laughing faces.
I want to touch the blooming flowers.
Feel her power.
But instead I cower.
Cower cower
alone...
again.
Alone without a friend to hear my scream.
Or hear my plea.
Where is my friend?
Why do I not have a friend?
I want a friend.
With her eyes staring at me.
Accusing eyes.
Was it me?
Who was it?
She can wait.
I do not have to love.
Yet why hate the one you love?
My light is going out.
I feel myself falling.
I call to you and you ignore me.
My light has gone out.
Now I see no one.
Darkness engulfs my soul.
Alone alone.
Now I have to go away.
Darkness has always been a part of life.
Light goes out once you die.
My soul has shattered.
My life is cracked.
My mind is a shamble.
I feel back into a nut shell.
When will you free me?
When will you get me out?
When will you I shout...
There is no where to go.
No where to hide...
When the face of time
comes seeping in the night.
