Pokemon Red and Blue for Gameboy was a big hit when it was released in the US in 1998. It was the first Pokemon game ever released, besides Pokemon Green which was only released in Japan. Even now Pokemon Red and Blue it is still very popular around the world and sells quickly at stores. In the game you play as a boy (Ash). In the game you try to catch all 150 Pokemon. When you start the game Prof. Oak lets you choose from three Pokemon you want to take on your journey. Their names are Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Bulbasur is a grass type Pokemon. Charmander is a fire type Pokemon. And Squirtle is a water type Pokemon. What you must do is defeat the eight Pokemon gyms to earn badges. Brock is the rock gym leader. Misty is the water gym leader. Lt. Surge is the electric gym leader. Ericka is the grass gym leader. Sabrina is the psychic gym leader. Koga is the poison gym leader. Blane is the fire gym leader. And Geovoni is the ground gym leader. Once you get all eight badges you can fight against the Elite 4. The elite 4 is 4 elite people (great people) with pokemon, The last person is gary or whoever you called him with the pet he started with and 2 other pets. This is how the line up goes: Lorelei (Ice type): Dewgong ... lvl 54 - Cloyster ... lvl 53 - Slowbro ... lvl 54 - Jynx ... lvl 56 - Lapras ... lvl 56 Bruno (fighting type): Onix ... lvl 53 - Hitmonchan ... lvl 55 - Hitmonlee ... lvl 55 - Onix ... lvl 56 - Machamp ... lvl 58 Agatha (ghost type): Gengar ... lvl 56 - Golbat ... lvl 56 - Haunter ... lvl 55 - Arbok ... lvl 58 - Gengar ... lvl 60 Lance (dragon type): Gyarados ... lvl 58 - Dragonair ... lvl 56 - Dragonair ... lvl 56 - Butera? ... lvl 60 - Dragonite ... lvl 62 Your Rival: The rivals pokemon decides on what pokemon he choose in the beggining of the game. Here is how it goes: If he picked a bulbasaur, you will get Gyarados (lvl 61) - Arcanine (lvl 63) - and Venusaur (lvl 65). If he picked a charmander, you will get Exegutor (lvl 61) - Gyarados (lvl 63) and - Charizard (lvl 65). If he choose Squirtle you will challange: Arcanine (lvl 61) - Executor (lvl 63) - and Blastoise (lvl 65) How to get mewtwo After you defeat the elite 4, fly back to cerulean city, goto that area where you can surf, (where you catch abras), its at the left side when your going up the nugget bridge. So surf down untill you see a guy with a big hat, talk to him and he will say ok I will let you in! And your in The secret dungeon. Since i cant scan sorry I cant show you hwo to get there but mewtwo will be on a sepret island. **SUPER TIP: Make sure you have a master ball ready along with a sleeping person, and a thing that can kill a STRONG Psychic pokemon. SAVE before you catch is tip 1!!!** |
