Togepi was hatched from a rare egg found in Grandfather Canyon. There is only one known Togepi in the whole world. It was discoverd by trainers Ash, Misty, and Brock. Togepi thinks that the first thing it sees is it's mother. Who did Togepi see first? MISTY!!! It won't let anybody else be it's trainer.If you're going on an egg hunt for a rare Pokemon, look for an egg with red and blue shapes on the shell. If you keep your egg warm and safe, it may hatch into a Togepi- or even a brand-new baby Pokemon! But keep in mind that baby Pokemon need love and attention.Togepi will want to be carried, played with, and fed often. It may even get cranky and cry!

So what will Togepi be like when it grows up? Scientists are still trying to figure that out. They don't know what Togepi's element is,so it is unclear how well Togepi will do in a battle. What Togepi becomes may depend on the skills of it's trainer.Now THAT'S a real Pokemon challenge!

Jessie and James of Team Rocket once Poke-Napped poor Togepi! But when they brought this rare Pokemon to their boss, Giovanni, he didn't even want it. As long as little Togepi is too young to battle, it is safe from Team Rocket's evil clutches! Togepi LOVES all the attention it can get. If you don't give it all the attention it wants, it might throw a tantrum. Togepi loves to play with a Pikablu's tail. Tracy's Pikablu will bob it's tail up and down for Togepi to catch. Very cute to watch! ;)

Some people say Togepi is a Preostoric Pokémon, and when the earthquake erupted, the egg came out of the rock. Some say Togepi is to cute and friendly to be Preostoric! They say if the was Preostoric, he would be more like Aerodactyl, with huge saw-like fangs that go for it's victim's throats! Tell Me What You Think!
