The wind howled against the heads of the Umbreons. It was near impossible to
see into the darkness with the high speed wind and the heavy downpouring
rain, only the faint glow of the young Umbreons' rings glowed. They staggered
about looking for shelter a very tiny infant not even a month old was in the
back whelping against the rain. The group pressed on through the Forever
Forest looking for their cave but the leader had lost the way and the young
umbreon were in trouble. Then the worst happened the river up ahead of the
group had overflowed with water sending a flood down the forest. Trees shrubs
were destroyed and the Umbreon caught inside the flood. After what seemed an
eternity the youngest Umbreon woke up all alone covered with mud and lying
against a tree.
As it began to move, its body ached and the infant fell to tired to attempt
to move on. As daybreak arrived the Umbreon now a little better tried to
stand up but fell, it tried again but fell, it tried a third time and finally
held its balance. With very tiny steps the youngster walked through the woods
now partially destroyed by he flood and covered with thick mud. After an hour
or so the umbreon stopped and looked for some water, it spotted a puddle of
dirty water. It bent down to take a SIPP but collapsed its face int eh water
drowning the umbreon. It would be only a matter of minutes till the infant
died.
"Look over there I see something,"a young boy ran towards the limp body of
the umbreon."It is still breathing quick hand me some of those berries over
there."
Another boy ran into the near by bush and grabbed a hand full of berries some
of them exploding in his hands staining them red. The other boy rubbed them
on the umbreon and it began to stir. It got up and made a lil sigh as it saw
the two boys.
"I will call it Niko," said the boy,"Niko is a fine name for such a good
looking Umbreon, my name is T.J and this is my friend Tom."
And so ends chapter one with a lil umbreon being saved by 2 wondering boys.
