Who was the last pop star you met? Usher. I didn't meet him, but I talked to him on the phone. I just said thanks for the autograph. I meet lots of pop stars. Who's my favourite? I'd probably say, erm... Usher. He's cool.

Can you name all the Backstreet Boys? Yeah, and I've made a nickname for them - B-Hank! B is for Brian, H is for Howie, A is for AJ... N is for Nick, and K is for Kevin. B-Hank! From now on, you've gotta call 'em the B-Hank Boys!

If you were an alien, what would you look like? I'd have three faces! One face would pop open, then another face would come out, and then a little face would come out of my mouth! (Aaron demonstrates!) The little face would have two big bulging eyes, and its eyelashes would point out really sharp - sharper than anything in the world! And his teeth would be about three inches long. I'd be a horrible alien, scaring everyone with my teeth!

Do you believe in aliens? Yes, I do. Sometimes, driving back from Orlando, we see little UFOs, like bright lights that flash. They're here, then they dissapear, and then - whoosh! - they're here again! I reckon they're trying to catch someone... and having fun!

Do you know anyone called Barbara? My grandma. My twin sister's middle name name is Barbara too - she's named after her. I'm named after my grandfather, Aaron Charles 'Chuckie' Carter. I like being called Chuckie!

When was the last time you fell over? I nearly fell over on TV! I was dancing, then I went 'poom!' and I went like this... (He demonstrates!) I'm used to falling over. And breaking my fingers! I've broken my thumb loads of time. ("No, you haven't" - Mrs C.) I have!

What's your favourite day of the week? Wednesday, because it's church day when I'm at home. We play basketball, go and learn new things about Lord, and see my friends. It's very nice to be home.

What time do you go to bed? Ten o'clock. I can stay up late on special occasions - New Year maybe, or when we have to leave somewhere at two o'clock in the morning. I'd rather stay up later.

What toothpaste do you use? What's that toothpaste called, Mom? Rembrandt. I brush my teeth three times a day... well, I try to! Do I have any cavities, Mom? I have a cap on my front teeth. I did a back-flip off some monkey bars and chipped it. (Starts throwing himself around the room, Smash Hits how he did it!) I went to the dentist, then my mom made me go back to school! (Aaron starts writhing about on the floor like a fish - but it's OK, he's just 'exercising'!)

How often do you tell fibs? Every day. Biiiiig fibs! When was the last time, mom? Oh yeah, I said in a magazine that I'd been swimming with dolphins, 'cos I wanted to sound cool, but my mom read it and she was like 'What?!' I have swum with a manatee, though - and they weigh about one ton, which is about a hundred million of me! (Clearly fibbing again.) It was the size of this room! But they'd never hurt you. Dolphins are creepy - you never know what a dolphin's gonna do 'cos their brain is bigger than ours.

Have you ever seen a ghost? Actually, I think I might have when I was younger. I remember me and my sister had a bunk bed, and my older sister slept in another bed, and I saw Chuckie (creepy doll from dead scary film Child's Play) run across and jump under the bed. I think that was true! I don't get nightmares - I'm not a chicken. ("That's why you don't want to sleep alone, then, 'cos you're so brave!" - Aaron's mom.)

What's your favourite kind of food? Pizza and spaghetti and chicken with cream of mushroom soup. Not together, though! What don't I like? Candy. (Another fib, according to Mom!)

Describe your bedroom. Messy. Very messy! When Nick comes home, it's like a tornado's passed by. (According to Mom, Aaron is nowhere near as bad as Nick!) I have posters of the Spice Girls, N-Tyce, Robyn and others... but mostly the Spice Girls!

Would you ever have plastic surgery? Ha ha! (giggling) Yeah, on my nose! Just joking! I have a small nose!

What would you most like to change about the world? I'd like to help people who are dying from AIDS and Cancer. Sickness is what I'd like to change - every one there is. If I ever made enough money, I'd give it to every single charity, and there are about 300 in the world.

Is being a pop star everything you thought it would be? Yes, it's eveything I wanted it to be. When I was a little kid, it was what I wanted to do, and I knew a bit about it 'cos of Nick.

Where do you want to live when you're older? I'll probably live with my family for the rest of my life, but if we ever do move anywhere, we'll move to the Quays (a chain of small islands off the coast of Florida). There's this place we found, and we decided we didn't want it 'cos it was too expensive at that time. But as my singing career goes on, we'll make enough. Are there alligators there? Yeah, a lot of alligators - I catch 'em! ('Course ya do, Aaron!)

Have you got a special teddy? Yeah, Chocolate Carter. He's got a cool hat, and he hasn't had a bath! I got him from a fan in Spain. I get lots of stuff, but he caught my eye. He goes eveywhere with me. I have a Gameboy too, but CC's better. He can speak Spanish, Japanese and German. He can speak all languages!

Would you ever make a film? I will do soon. It'll be about my life. We'll probably film it at my house if we ever do one. It'll be called Aaron's Real Life. Ha! Or AC's Imagination! (Now that would be a long film!) Smash Hits.
