Today I woke up and my sister, who is staying with us this week, informed me that my two-year-old niece ripped my very large, and very rare Hanson promo poster for the new album. The poster was hanging in a record store, and I asked if I could have it. It is the size of my entire bedrooom wall!! Anyway, it was my new cherished Hanson posession, and she ripped the whole left side of it. Of course it can be taped, and really isn't that noticeable, but it was the thought that this perfect, rare poster had been mared that made me sad. I don't blame my niece Zoe, nor am I angry, it just makes me feel like perfection can never be attained. I thought this poster was perfect...but it's not. I guess that's how the story goes...nothing is truly perfect. Even things that we see as perfection still have defects and flaws that may by invisible to the naked eye. The point I'm trying to make is that although Hanson seems like perfect people, they have flaws and make mistakes just like everyone else. They are normal people, and are not perfect. Well...Ok, I'm not talking about appearances here. :)
