She spent her nights dreaming of him and trying to remember what he looks like in person. She spends her days daydreaming of him in class and watching him on the television that gives the wrong picture of him. When the day is done she prays he’ll come back for her one day. She spends her life longing for him…
Christmas lit up the city on that cold wintry night in which destiny and fate had come to together and decided to work their most spectacular work by far. The night was clear, yet there were no stars in the sky as the snow lightly fell leaving rooftops covered in snow. Lovers shared cab rides and walked closely snuggled together for warmth, window shopping on the less crowded streets, people bundled up head to toe, people ice skating across the clear glassy ice, sidewalk Santa’s ringing bells for charity and handing out candy canes. It seemed the most perfect night…
Some people sat in serious business meetings in the huge buildings above looking onto the beautiful scene of winter below, while the others sat only wanting to finish their business so they could get paid. Some people sat at home watching the weather reports or with their families, while others stood looking outside at the snow that had been so eagerly awaited. Some people strolled the streets shopping, or just to be with their lovers, some just strolled to enjoy the scenery, while the others had no other place to go.
