***In Portland***
Nikki and Nina were headed to the boys bus because both Brian and Nick had woke them up on several occasions just because they felt like it or wanted to go somewhere. It was finally their turn to be woke up earlier then they wanted. They reached the door and lightly knocked. Kevin Answer and was wide-awake as always. "Hey girls, do you two need something?" he whispered so he wouldn't wake the rest of the guys up.
"Umm Yeah, we need to talk to Brian and Nick." Nikki said smiling evilly.
"Well they are still sleeping. I am the only one up." he said still whispering.
"Kevin You don't get it! That is the point of it all!! We want to wake them up." Nikki said still grinning.
"Uh, I dunno about that Nikki…" he said stopping to think.
"Come on they've done it to us a couple times! It's only fair!!" she said trying to prove her point.
"Ah alright. Just don't tell them I let you girls in k?" he said as he opened the door for them to come in.
"Thanks Kev!" they both said smiling. They walked to the back of the bus and Nikki stopped facing the right side and peered into the top bunk. *Ah how cute! * She thought as she saw Nick sleeping in his bed. Nina had stopped on the other side and leaned down to look in the middle bunk. Brian was also still sleeping. She slowly leaned down and kissed his cheek. He lazily opened his droopy eyes. "Morning Brian!" she said smiling at him. He slowly returned the smile. But While Nina woke Brian up with a kiss Nikki had a different idea of how to wake Nick up. She leaned down and whispered "Nicky, Hunny it's time to wake up." she said smiling knowing this would not wake him up. He started mumbling something then turned over on his side. She leaned in so she was right next to his ear. "Nick! Nick!! Oh My Gosh It's Nick Carter!!" she squealed. He shot up with a start. He turned to see what was going on and was madder than ever when he saw it was Nikki playing a trick on him.
"Argh! Nikki! I Was trying to sleep!!" he grumbled angrily.
"Oh come on Nick, you've woke me up before…a couple of times. So you can stop whining around and get up!" she said joking with him.
"Get The Fuck Away from me!" he said flopping back in to his warm bed.
"Fine!" she said and stormed out the bus.
***Two Hours Later***
Nick is dressed and fully awake. "Hey Bri and Nina have either of yall seen Nikki today? She usually stops by every morning about an hour ago." He said looking a little sad.
"Nick did you hit you head that hard or what?" Brian said thinking his friend may have completely lost it.
"Umm…No, Why?" he said confused thinking Brian was trying to crack and joke and he didn't get it or Brian was losing his touch.
"You told Nikki to get the fuck away from you…and she did just that." Brian said almost positive that his friend was losing it now.
"WHAT? I seriously told her that???" he said looking worried and scared.
"Sorry to say Chaos but yeah you did. She came by to wake you up and when she did you got mad and told her to get the fuck away from you."
"Crap!! I gotta go talk to her!" he said as he turned to the door.
"Sorry Nick but it'll have to wait until Practice or the concert because we've gotta get to sound check now because we're supposed to be gone right now. I told the guys we'd be in a second so you could finish getting dressed."
"ARGH! Fine Let's go." He mumbled as he walked out the door and Brian followed. They both walked into the Venue and Nina walked to the other bus.
***In The Girls Bus***
"Oh I know What a asshole huh? Telling me to get away? Ha! Forget him!" Nikki grumbled denfesively. "Kelly I'll trade you partners, just for the day."
"Oh Sure! I'll trade. I am normally with Howie remember so that's who you can practice with today."
"Thanks Kelly!" she said thinking Kelly was doing it out of the goodness of her heart which was clearly over estimating Kelly for no one is sure she even has a heart. *Finally! My chance at Nick!!* Kelly thought as she smiled 'sweetly'.
***At Practice***
Nick stood waiting for Nikki to come over so he could apologize for what he had done. He was disappointed to see her go over to Howie and stayed, Leaving him standing alone. Suddenly Fatima yelled for everyone to get into formation and Nikki started walking over his way but stopped where Howie and Kelly's position was. Suddenly he saw Kelly coming toward him. She was almost every guy's dream but her snobbish attitude made everyone hate her. He stared intently at Kelly who had a half shirt on and tight black stretch pants. Suddenly Nikki looked over feeling bad for not talking to Nick but stopped feeling bad when she saw what he was staring at.
***Later***
"Grrr Nick makes me so mad!!!" Nikki grumbled as she walked backstage.
"Oh No, what's he do now Nikki? Earlier you were ready to forgive him and forget it ever happened. Now you hate him? What did he do?" Nina said a little worried about Nikki. She gave Nick forgiveness after all he had done to her in 8th grade and then he still is mean to her even though they are together.
"He was watching Kelly the whole practice!" she said angrily.
"Umm Nikki he has to look at her to do the dance." Nina said thinking Nikki was getting mad over nothing.
"ARGH, you know what I mean…He was staring at HER!" she said now feeling insecure and irreveralvent. May she was irreveralvent to Nick…maybe she didn't mean anything to him at all.
"Oh! Oops! Sorry!! Maybe you were imagining it. Maybe he wasn't really looking at that." Nina said trying to help out. Suddenly Nick walked up.
"Nikki can I talk to you please?" he said politely.
"Umm Yeah sure, You'll have to excuse me Nina." She said as she followed Nick about 20 feet away from where she had been standing.
"Listen I am sorry about this morning! I usually tell people that I can be a real monster in the morning. I Am sorry Nikki!" he said looking her in the eyes.
As her said that her heart melted and he was totally forgiven. "It's ok!" she said smiling but then her smile faded when she saw Kelly walking around which reminded her of what Nick had been doing at Practice. *Oh Well, I'll let it slide just this once, but he is allowed to look at other girls but I wish he wouldn't.*
"Something wrong Nikki??" Nick said look at her as the smiled disappeared from her face.
"No nothing is wrong Nick." She said her smile returning.
"Oh ok." He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
***After The Concert***
"Nina! We're headed to Seattle!! I can't wait and we're going to have two day break there!! I can't wait to get there and see some of my old friends and My mom again!" she rambled as they walked back to the bus together. The other girls had gone ahead of them and Nick, Brian and the rest of the guys were still signing autographs.
"Well it's going to be at least four hours so, we might as well get some sleep. If you're too tired to do anything then you'll be wasting going to Seattle at all."
"You are just finding a reason to shut me up huh?" she said laughing.
"Oh Hell yeah! Girl you need to shut your mouth cause your running it way too much." She answered joking with her friend. Suddenly Nikki felt two hands clamp down on her shoulders. She screamed.
"Nikki!! Chill It's only me...Jeez can you say a little high stung??" Nick said a little surprised at her unusual jumpiness.
"Oh Hey Nick!" she said as she stood on her tippy toes to kiss his cheek.
He smiled. "Nikki come hang out on our bus please!!"
"Nah I'm going to go to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow...k?"
"Oh ok." He said looking disappointed.
"Ahh, I'll see you tomorrow." She said and gave him a kiss. Then they both went on they own busses and 10 minutes later they were on their way to Seattle.
