***Andrea's Room***
A.J. and Andrea are sitting in one of the chairs at a table in Andrea's room. "Andi, I love you, I really do! But I need you to tell me that it's over between you and that Marcus guy."
"It is Alex! I swear!" Andrea said looking at A.J. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it…Alex you just sit right there!" With that she stood up and walked to the door and opened it. "Oh My Gosh! I can't believe you're here!" Andrea said shocked at who she saw standing outside her door.
***Outside the Movie Theater***
"What'd ya think of the movie?" Howie said wrapping his arm around Jessica's waist.
She smiled and said, "I liked it. How bout you? What'd you think of it?"
"Oh it was pretty good…I guess." He said not really sure what went on in the movie. He was too busy starring at Jessica the whole time.
***At The YMCA***
"Oh Poor Nick!" Nikki said looking at his pouting face. "You sad you lost?" Nikki suddenly felt bad when he winced at her joke…she didn't really mean anything by it! "I'm sorry Nick I was just teasing you! I know you let us win anyways!" she said referring to the two other girls she had found to play…Nick found two other guys but they weren't very good. She leaned over to Nick and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Suddenly a smile returned to his face. "You little faker!" She said as she punched his arm lightly.
"I sorry Nikki." he said looking her in the eyes. He was doing it again! She still couldn't resist a face like that. He was so cute and sweeter than any other guy she knew.
"It's ok. Come On let's get going! I don't want to be late for our first concert!!!" Nikki said suddenly thinking about the concert.
***Andrea's room***
"Come on in!" Andrea said still not believing he had come!
"You didn't think I'd miss your first big show did ya Andi?" The guy said with a smile.
"Yeah! I didn't expect you! But since you're here you've gotta meet A.J.!" She said grabbing his hand and pulling him back to where she had left A.J.
Immediately A.J. got tense. "Who is that?" He said glaring at the guy who was standing a little too close to Andi.
"Alex calm down! This is Jesse, My brother. You never met him at any of the family stuff because he hasn't been to much of it in the past 5 years while he has been in the service. And still is." Andrea said walking over to A.J. She sat down on his lap and made herself comfortable. "Jess, you can sit down. The chairs aren't going to bite you!" She said joking with him. He didn't react just sat in the other chair.
"So, Jesse, what service are you in?" A.J. said now relaxed.
"I am in the Marines. 2nd in my class." He stated proudly.
"Wow, that's awesome. Where all have ya been to?" A.J. said curiously.
"I have been to Mexico, Iran, England, California, and parts of the East Coast."
"Hey you still seeing that girl from Mexico?" Andrea asked thinking if he wasn't she could fix him up.
"No, we broke up." Jesse said looking a little sad.
"Good! She was nuts! She smashed your car windows with a baseball bat!" Andrea said trying to remind him that she wasn't that nice!
"Andi can we please not get into that…I just came to support you."
"Yeah Andi give your bro a break!" A.J. said understanding Jesse's feelings.
"Whose side are you on Alexander? Anyways nobody was ever there when I was growing up to get my older brother off my back! And I was just trying to help!"
"I am sorry Andi." A.J. said regretting saying anything in the first place.
"Andi where's Jess? I hear she might be going on tour with you guys." Jesse said referring to his twin sister. And at the same time trying to help A.J. out who seemed to be getting himself in trouble pretty fast.
"She is at the movies with Howie. She'll be at the show tonight." Andrea said. "Have you even gone home yet to see mom and dad, Jess?"
"Yeah, they would have liked to come tonight too. Jules is coming too." Jesse said answering her question and more.
"Well why didn't they?" Andrea asked a little upset. She thought they'd be there for sure!
"You didn't invite them Andi! They said they doubted you'd have enough tickets or something. They did want to come." Jesse said defending their parents.
Suddenly Andrea felt bad. She had forgotten to invite her own parents! "You guys would have all been with me, you wouldn't need tickets!" she said in an upset voice.
"Call them, maybe they can still go Andi." Jesse said trying to calm his sister down.
***In Brian's Room***
"So, did ya have fun Nina?" Brian asked wrapping his arms around her.
"I had a blast! How bout you Mr.Littrell? Did you have a good time?" Nina asked snuggling into Brian's warm arms.
"Well I was with you so of course I had fun!" Brian said pulling her a little closer.
"Did you really mean what you said about…" Nina paused and thought about it for a second. She wasn't sure if she wanted to ask him that but she should anyways. "About us being…you know a couple in a serious relationship?"
"Yes I did but if you are mad at me for that then. It's ok. We don't have to be together like that…we could be just friends…If you want." Brian said sounding a little nervous.
Nina smiled. "No, I like being Together in a relationship with you! I am glad you didn't leave me to stay with that other girl!" Nina said then suddenly realizing that was out loud she added "Umm… I mean…Umm Nothing I didn't mean anything it was just one of those things you say but has no meaning."
"It's ok. I know what you meant or didn't mean or something like that." Brian said confusing himself.
Nina smiled. Brian could always make her feel good even after she said things she regretted saying. That was something she really loved about him. It was a great quality to have. "Brian you're silly!" Nina said kissing his cheek.
Brian smiled. Nina always knew what to say and do to make him feel great. She was the kind of girl he could wrap his arms around and hold real close and never want to let go.
***Later at The Concert***
"Hey Nikki! Hey Natalie! Hey Nina! Hey Nick! Hey Kevin! Hey Bri! Hey Howie! Hey Jessica!" Andrea said walking over to where everyone was sitting backstage. Natalie was sitting next to Kevin talking. Nina was sitting on Brian's lap and talking to him. Howie and Jessica were sitting very close holding hands and talking. Nikki and Nick were sitting next to each other and Nikki was lying against Nick's chest and he had his chin rested on her head. Everyone looked comfortable with their girlfriends or boyfriends or near girlfriend/boyfriends. Except A.J. who was sitting alone. Andrea smiled. "You guys I want you to meet My Mother, Jennifer, My Father James, My sister Julie better known as Jules And Last and defiantly least My brother Jesse." She said point to each as she said their name. "Guys don't make me introduce all of you please!" she begged.
Everyone laughed at her laziness. "I'm Kevin and this is Natalie." Kevin said putting his arm around Natalie. Natalie just smiled.
"I'm Brian better known as B-Rok…And this beauty sitting on my lap is Nina." He said pulling her close to him.
"Well I am Nick better known as…Nick and I guess everyone has been introducing their girlfriends too. So I'll continue with that. This wonderful, prefect Angel sitting here is Nikki." He said looking down at Nikki and she blushed at his compliment.
"And I'm Howie…I would introduce my girlfriend as well but seeing as she is related to all of you it'd be kinda silly." Every one chuckled at Howie's attempt at a joke.
"I'm A.J. but I think all of you know that already. Nice to see you again Mr. and Mrs. Shoesmith. And you too Jules." A.J. said politely.
Andrea walked over to A.J. and sat on his lap and gave him a kiss. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "Well, we gotta get going. And warm up." A.J. said looking at his watch. "Everyone that isn't in the show can either stay backstage here or go out and stand in front of the rails for First row. If you want to stand there I will have to get you passes." A.J. said trying to organize things.
"That's ok son, we'll all be just fine back here." James said trying to make as little stress on them as possible.
"Ok if you change your minds just talk to Jordan our security. Tell him to get me if he doesn't believe you." A.J. said quickly before standing up with Andrea.
***Later During The Opening Act***
"Oh My gosh I am so nervous!! I am scared that I'm going to mess up!" Andrea said anxiously. She was nervous but music always seemed to calm her down and she could her 'Addicted' by Marcea coming from the Stage. Plus A.J. helped calm her down too.
"Don't worry Andi. You'll be fine. I'll be right there with you." A.J. said in a comforting voice. He leaned down and hugged her then gave her a long kiss. "And that was for Good luck." A.J. said keeping his smile as they parted. Andrea was going to just walk on the stage and A.J. and the rest of the guys were going to fly on. Andrea and the rest of the dancers ran on stage. The boys came up on their surfboards and flew onto the stage.
***Backstage***
"Oh My gosh!! I can't believe I am back here!!" Kara squealed happily. She and her best friend had gotten backstage passes because her father knew one of their bodyguards.
"I know!!! It's so awesome!!!"
"A.J. is sooo HOT!!! His girlfriend is soo lucky to have him!!!" Kara said starring dreamily onto the stage.
"Excuse me did you say A.J.??" a female asked walking toward them.
"Yeah, why??" Kara said thinking the lady was going to say something like she wasn't good enough for A.J. anyways so she should stop dreaming.
"How would you like to meet him?"
"Meet him???" she repeated her eyes widening. "Could you do that??"
"Sure!! I know his girlfriend."
"Really? Is she nice?"
"She can be a pain but that is just because she is my sister. By the way my name is Julie but you can call me Jules." Julie said shaking Kara's hand then LaTavia's. (Kara's friend)
***Later Near the end of the concert***
"Ok It's time for a dance off between our very own Dancers!" Brian shouted into his Mic, which didn't seem to be working. Brian walked to the center of the stage and put his Mic. Down and picked up a different one but A.J. had already announced the dance off.
***After The Concert***
The guys ran off stage sweaty and hot. They all were used to performing so they were still full of energy. The girls slowly walked behind them. They weren't as used to it as the guys were.
"Hey Yall!!" Julie called to the group. They all walked over to her to see what was up.
"I want you guys to meet two girls." She said looking at the girls beside her who looked like they were about to pass out. "This is Kara and this is LaTavia. And it's Kara's birthday today."
"Cool, Happy Birthday Kara. And Nice to meet ya." Kevin said smiling.
"Hey guys how bout wishing her a happy birthday Backstreet Style?" A.J. asked ready to use his talents to impress them as he always did with people.
"Ok sure. Here is the note> Mmm." Kevin said to get them on key.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday Dear Kara. Happy birthday to you." They sang in unison. Then A.J. stepped forward and in his raspy soulful voice said "Happy Birthday girl."
"Oh my gosh!! I will never ever forget this birthday!!!" She squealed. "Can I have your autographs?? Please!?!"
"Sure. Do you have a pen?"
"Oh shoot. I don't!!"
"Wait!! Not letting this happen again!! If somebody doesn't have a pen here Trevon always carries one."
"I have one. Hang on." Julie said opening her purse she pulled a pen out and handed it to A.J. The girl handed him a picture of himself and handed the rest of the guys pictures of themselves. They signed and posed for some pictures then walked out the door. Marcea signed a paper and posed with the guys.
"I am so ready for some sleep!" Nikki complained.
"For once I agree with you Nikki!" Nina said walking to the back exit of the building. The girls all walked to their bus with almost no problems. And claimed bunks. The guys had to stop and do a little meet'n'greet with the fans and so did Marcea. Then they went and got into their bunks. They already knew where they would sleep they had used this exact same bus on their last tour.
Marcea would be sleeping on the bus with the dancers. But since she was so close to home she decided to go home instead because she didn't know any of the dancers yet. But she would soon enough.
