"I don't know, me, Cait and Andrea are supoosed to start planning out the nursery tonight." Whitney answered.
"I see, well, call me when you find out if you guys are going to do it tonight or not okay?"
"I will! But I got to be heading out because I'm supposed to be going shopping with Cait in about an hour." She said, standing up.
"Ok, I'll talk to you later, hon.," JC said, giving her a small kiss as she walked out the door.
"Ok, Love you, bye JC." Whitney yelled hopping into her car.
That night Andi, Cait, and Whitney began planning out the nursery. "First, we need to pick a theme for the room." Andi started.
"Well, is it a boy or a girl?" Whit asked.
"Girl." Andi informed them.
"Ok, how about something like teddy bears, or ballerinas, or, we could just paint it white." Whit suggested.
"No, we are not just painting it white." "Ok, how about we start by going out and looking at what we can find for wallpapers?" Cait said, butting in.
"That sounds like a plan, when do you want to go?" Andi asked.
"Ummm....how about tommorrow afternoon?"
"Works for me, how about you Whit?"
"Works for me."
"Ok then, tomorrow around 2 meet here and we'll go ok?" Andi asked.
"Ok, well, I have to go, I told JC I would come over if we finished here at reasonable hour." Whitney said getting up and heading towards the door.
"Ok, well don't forget, we'll see you tomorrow, hon." Cait told her as she gave them a small wave and walked out the door.
"Well, since it is still a decent hour, I think I'm gonna go visit J, is that ok?" Cait asked Andi after Whitney had left.
"Sure, enjoy it while they're here!" Andi advised her.
"Ok, thanks, I'll be here around two tomorrow, lata D." Cait said walking out the door and heading off to Justin's house.
"Nothing much, just kind of hanging around watching a little TV." he started. "What are you doing here, I thought you had to go to D's?"
"Oh, we were there, finished already, ya know?"
"I see, well, since it's only 9:00, what do you want to do?"
"Ummmm...you want to go see a movie?"
"Sure, what do you want to go see?"
"Um, I kind of wanted to se 'Save the Last Dance' "
"Ok, hang on, I'll go check when it's playing, ok?"
"Alright, come on." Whitney said as they walked into the kitchen and opened up the newspaper to find the arts section. They ended up catching the 10:00 showing of the movie.
Meanwhile Justin and Cait were chillin' at his house. "So, how much longer are you guys home for?" Cait asked Justin as they sat on the couch, cuddling.
"Only another two weeks." He told her saldy.
"I see, well, I guess we'll just have to make the best of our time, ha?" She asked, letting a yawn escape her lips.
"I think you neeed to go home and go to bed." Justin told Cait with a little chuckle.
"I don't want to go home yet."
"But you're completely wiped, babe."
"So, I want to stay here with you."
"You can, come on, we can go to bed then, ok?"
"I guess so." Cait said as she yawned again. "Come on you, time to go to bed." Justin said, slipping his arm around her waist and leading her off towards his bedroom.
The next morning Cait woke up around 9:30. When she looked over at Justin she saw him still asleep, looking so peaceful. A few minutes later hs eyes started to flutter open. "Hey," she said groggily as he rubbed his eyes, trying to adjust to the light.
"Morning." he returned, giving her a small kiss on the lips.
"Well, I'm going to getup, see you when you decide to join me, lata J" Cait said giving him a long kiss and getting up.
"That wasn't nice!" he yelled after her.
"What wasn't nice?"
"You're just teasing me."
"How am I teasing you?" "Don't try and play innocent with me, I know what you're trying to do, now go away, I'm going back to sleep."
"Ok, fine, be that way, lata J."
"Lata C." Justin said turning over and closing his eyes to go back to sleep. 15 minutes later Justin came out to the kitchen Joining Cait. "I thought you were going back to sleep?" she teased.
"Well, I coudn't." he replied grumpily.
"Sorry, geeze, don't bite my head off!"
"You better watch out or I might bite something else."
"Oh gee, I'm scared now!' Cait said mockingly.
"Oh, shut up!" Justin said walking over to her and dropping down on her lap.
"uff! get up you moose!"
"No, this is kinda comfortable." "For you, I like me legs still being able to function though!"
"Me too, I guess I can get up," he said standing up after giving her a kiss.
"Well, I am going out with Cait and D at 2 this afternoon," she told him. "So we can hang out until then but I have to go with them."
"Ok, well where should we go?" "I don't know! why don't we just go walking around or something?"
"Alright, let's go." he said grabbing her hand and pulling her out the door. The couple then went walking around for a few hours before Cait, Whit, and D went out to look at wallpapers for the nursery.
"Alright, let's see, that teddy bear one over there looks kind of cute." Andi said, pointing to a border that had teddy bears holding balloons all over it.
"We could do that and paint like an eggshell kind of color above it." Cait suggested.
"Hmmm....I like that," Whitney siad. "Why don't we see what else we can find and then come back to this if we don't find anything else, ok?"
"Sounds like a plan, come on." Andi said as the trio kept walking around the store. They were there for almost another hour before they decided to just go with the teddy bear paper. "You guys going to help me put this up?" Andi asked on the way home.
"Why won't Chris do it?" Cait asked.
"Please! Chris doing anything like this is a lost cause!" Andrea told her.
"Oh, ok, then yes, I will glady help you." she told her.
"Whitney?"
"Yup, tell me when and where and I'll be there."
"Ok, good, I'll call you guys later to give you specifics." Andi said as she arrived at JC's house to drop off Whtney. 20 minutes later she dropped Cait off at Justin's house and then went to her own house where she found Chris sprawled out on the couch, dead asleep.
She walked over and sat on the edge, slowly rubbing her finger along the side of his face. Andi was probably one of the happiest poeple alive. She was with the man she loved with all her heart, and she was about to have his child. How much better could it get? She was about to find out.
"Hey, D, you want to come with me for a walk?" Chris asked Andrea.
"Sure, let's go." She told him grabbing a coat as they walked out the door. Chris then led Andrea towards a park that was just down the street.
"Come here, I need to ask you something." he told her pulling her by the hand.
"Ok, where are you taking me?" she asked curiously. "Just follow me ok?" He said as he kept dragging her towards a little lake towards the end of the park where had laid a blanket for them to sit on.
"oh gee, look, a blanket, what a coincidence." Chris said sarcastically.
"Yeah, sure it is, what are you doing Chris?"
"I just have a little something I wanted to ask you."
"Ok, what is it?" she asked as she watched him pull something out of his pocket.
"Well, I wanted to know, Andrea Curtis, if you would marry me?" he asked, showing her the ring he had taken out of his pocket.
"Of course I will marry you Christopher Kirkpatrick!" She exclaimed, meeting him with a long, passionate kiss. "I love you." she whispered once they pulled away and she was holding the sides of his head, resting her forehead on his.
"I love you too." he told her. "Come on, let's go home." He told her geting up and offering her a hand.
"No, I kind of want to sit out here for a little while, actually."
"Ok, then we'll sit out here for a little while." he answered with a smile, sitting down behind her as she leaned back aginst his chest, resting her hand on her stomach.
"I can't beleive there is another human being growing inside of me, it's amazing." Andi said a few minutes later.
"Me either, it's just weird to think that I am going to be a father." Chris admitted.
"Why is it so weird?" "I don't know, I mean I never thought I would be a father, but now that I am going to be, I am so happy."
"Good, I'm glad you're happy, baby, I don't what I would do if you weren't" The two sat there for almost another hour talking about their future or nothing at all, they just enjoyed having each others company.
