Chapter Six

“Justin, you know what?” Cait said to him a few days later.

“No, I don’t, but I’m sure you’re going to tell me.” He replied.

“You’re right I am. I’m bored and do you know what you can do about that?” She asked.

“No, but again, I’m sure you’re going to tell me.” He returned.

“You’re right, I think you should come shopping with me!”

“UGH! I don’t want to go shopping.”

“You know, you’re whining is extremely unattractive.”

“Really? You know what your face is extremely unattractive.” Justin said, getting up and walking closer to Cait.

“Really? Well, you know you damned ass is nasty and saggy.” She came back, as he continued to move closer.

“Really? Well, you suck.” He said before devouring her lips with his own.

Once they broke apart Cait asked, “So will you take me shopping now?”

Justin rolled his eyes and smiled. “Yeah, I’ll take you shopping now.”

“YAY!” she screamed jumping up and down like an excited child.

“Whoa, calm down there buddy!”

“Alright, sorry, I’m so happy, wow!”

“Yeah, wow.” He said sarcastically.

“Whatever, let’s go.” Cait told him grabbing her purse and walking out the door.

Soon they were walking around the mall. Just wore his hat and sunglasses hopefully not being noticed. Though he knew that wearing sunglasses in the mall is kind of suspicious.

“You know Justin I realize you’re trying to hide your big head under that hat, but it’s ugly.” Cait told him as they sat in the food court sipping their Slush Puppies, studying his torn and dirty UNC hat.

“So, I like it and that’s all that matters.” He told her.

“I’m happy you like it, but I don’t and I think you need a new one.” She informed him.

“I don’t want a new one though, I like this one, and it draws less attention.”

“How do you get that. If I saw some guy walking around the mall with that hat I would certainly look up and maybe even laugh.”

“You’re mean.” Justin Pouted.

“I know, I’m sorry babe.” Cait said.

“No you’re not.”

“Yes I am, I love you and I was just making a comment.”

“Sure, whatever.”

“I do, now will you stop pouting and come with me?” She asked, sticking out her bottom lip.

Justin looked up and couldn’t help but smile. He grabbed her hand and ran out of the food court as Cait laughed behind him.

“Alright guys, hanging up wallpaper isn’t that difficult.” Andi said to Cait and Whitney as they stood around the soon-to-be nursery.

“Mmhmm, and this is coming from a woman who is seven months pregnant, PLEASE!” Cait told her, rolling her eyes.

“I'm gonna kick your ass!” Andi threatened. “Now, can we just get this project on the road, we have a whole lot of shit to do.”

“Ok, let’s get down and dirty dude!”

Two hours later things weren’t that much farther along.

“I need a nap.” Andrea told them.

“Well, then go take a nap and we’ll keep going, ok?” Whitney asked.

“Alright, but try no to make it too messy.” She pleaded.

“Ok, we won’t.” Cait laughed. “Now go ahead and get some rest, we’ll see you when you wake up.”

“Alright, have fun guys.”

Andrea fell asleep after hitting the couch, she was wiped, this whole being pregnant thing was a lot harder than she thought.

There were swollen feet, sore backs, feeling like you have to pee constantly, and just being tired, way too much. Thinking of the end result was the only thing that got her through the day sometimes. She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new addition to her and Chris’s life.

“Alright, it’s time to get down to this crap, we need to have at least half of this room done by the time she gets up.” Cait told Whitney as soon as Andrea was out of earshot.

“Alright dude, let’s get to it.” She replied, dipping a piece of border and putting it onto the wall.

Half an hour later the girls each had a wall done, the smiled with satisfaction as they continued their work.

“OMG!” They heard form behind them, seeing Andi when the turned around with a look of shock on her face. “You guys did all this while I was asleep?”

“Afraid so.” Whitney told her.

“Thank you guys so much, it looks perfect!” She gushed, giving each of her friends a hug. “What would I do without you?”

“I don’t know be a miserable cranky old lady who never had any cool friends.” Cait answered.

“I knew I could count on you for a logical reason!”

“Always.”

“Alright, enough of this crap, let’s get some food!”

Andi told Cait and Whit as they smiled jumping up from the position the floor where they had previously been.
