She had lived with her friend, Meghan and her family who were nice enough to let her stay in their home until she got back on her feet. She had begun to think of the White's as her own family. She had been working for Teen People now for a little over a year and love most aspects of her job. The only one she didn't like was what she had to do now...go to a meeting.
"We are here today to talk about the anniversary issue coming up in a few months" her boss Jaime started. Jaime was a medium height man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was 30 years old and very friendly to his co-workers. "We need and idea of who to put on the cover and ideas on what to put on the inside." he explained, "any suggestions?"
"Well, who are the most popular musicians right now?" Liz's co-worker, Julie, asked.
"Well, there's the whole boy band, teen pop thing going on." Liz said.
"True... But which one would go on the cover, and how would we set up the article?" Jaime said bringing up the details.
"Well, let's figure out our options," Liz started, "we have the Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, No Authority, O-Town, 2gether, Take 5, SoulDescison, *NSYNC, the list goes on."
"Well, recently who has been the biggest?"
"Well, let's see, that knocks off basically everyone except the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC."
"Wait, *NSYNC recently released an album, they're pretty big right now" Julie pointed out.
"True, but the I believe the backstreet boys are preparing for the release of theirs." Liz said poignantly.
"True, well we could do one on the cover and the other on the inside as a big story also." Jaime suggested.
"Yes, we could. But then that brings about who should be the one on the cover and who's on the inside?" Liz pointed out.
"Well, I would say we do *NSYNC on the cover and the Backstreet Boys on the inside." Jaime said. "I'll make some calls and see when I can get hem to come in for a photo shoot and an interview, ok?"He was responded with a round of ok's. The room then emptied out as the meeting adjourned.
