Action/Adventure/War Unrated. A Viking boy is left behind after his clan battles a Native American tribe. Raised within the tribe, he ultimately becomes their savior in a fight against the Norsemen. From reading and talking to some friends that went to see this film in theaters it seems a lot of people just missed the point of this movie which is why most seemed to dislike it. The plot seems thin and for the most part it is but the story really is inside each character and they way they feel about their lives and and why they do what they do. The battle scenes are violent and very bloody and really give you a good idea of how life was back in those days. It's really a simple story with a lot of ideas hidden inside, it's just up to you the viewer to find them and just not look at the film from the outside. This will never win any awards but it is a very enjoyable film with all the right elements mixed perfectly together. If your a fan of the genre I recommend you watch this film on your own and judge for yourself, I think if you let all they ideals of what you think a film like this should be like and just take this little film for what it is you might just walk away feeling pretty happy you gave it a shot.
