Conspiracy of Fear

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Action/Thriller Rated R. The shocking, tragic death of his father propels Chris King (Andrew Lowery, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) into a nightmare. Running for his life, Chris fights off street thugs, a homicidal psychopath (Geraint Wyn Davies, Some Things That Stay), and the CIA. He teams up with a beautiful but rough petty thief (Leslie Hope, Dragonfly) to uncover why he has become the hunted. Together, they discover that a valuable piece of information his father left behind is worth killing for—they just have to stay alive to find it. This is the second film this week released by Echo Bridge that stars Christopher Plummer, but along side him in this film is Geraint Wyn Davies who is always good in any role he is in and in this one he got top billing which is a good thing to see. This was Originally a Television film that aired in 1998 so you cannot compare this to a theatrical film in the same genre today and with that being said this was a pretty entertaining film. The plot and direction both could of been better but the film does create enough action and suspense to keep you watching and the cast more than does their job and takes the film another level from where it might of been without them. Again it's great to see a lot of these older movies making their way to DVD and giving us all more of a choice in what to rent or buy...pick this title up as I think you will find it as entertaining as I did.
