Space Mutiny

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sci-Fi NR. One of the funniest films featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000 in the Emmy® Award nominated show's 11-year run, Space Mutiny is a hilariously bad sci-fi epic that's guaranteed to have you in stitches. Combine a wardrobe of spandex and tinfoil; a set boasting AstroTurf® and spray-painted floor buffers; and special effects that, well, aren't so special, and you've got one of the most hysterical cheeseball movies to ever come out of the '80s. Grab your friends and have a riot with this underground cult hit! This is one of those films that is so bad that is good if you get my drift. plus it's hilarious and doesn't even try to be. I would say that not since Ed Wood has there been a movie this bad, but hell that's half the fun here. After all you know what your getting here and if you don't well then you got reason to moan after seeing it. I always felt Reb Brown was a decent "B" movie actor and I still believe that even after seeing this film. In fact most of the actors do a great job in playing their roles out straight when they got to know by script the way this was going to turn out. I recommend this to fan's of sci-fi and also fan's of Ed wood as I am sure those people will get a kick out of this film. I am guilty of being entertained here myself.
