There's good reason this film from Glasgow won so many awards and gained rave reviews where ever it played. This is a realistic drama tied to a thriller, one that leads you on, grabs you and demands your attention till the secret is revealed. The cast is brilliant including Kate Dickie,Tony Curran and Martin Compston, each one play their roles to perfection. Red road is a gripping and unsettling, low-budget, yet very professionally made film that unwinds slowly, building the suspense and tension in every scene.
