A collection of five-minute films about the City of Lights brings Paris to life with a unique patchwork of 20 stories. Numerous writers, directors and actors lend their distinctive vision to the project, employing a wide variety of styles and subject matter. Participants include Gérard Depardieu, Gus Van Sant, Ethan Coen, Joel Coen, Wes Craven, Marianne Faithfull, Steve Buscemi, Juliette Binoche, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gena Rowlands and many others.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this as it's a one of kind film but with the great set of directors and actors I was looking forward to sitting down to watch it. There were some misses here but over-all most of the stories were hits as far as I am concerned. The last story I thought was excellent and the Coen Brothers and Steve Buscemi had to be the comic highlights. The misses are few and since the stories are only 5 minutes each you don't really notice their weaknesses as much either. I don't think this film is for everyone but for those looking for something different or enjoy a good love story then this is one for you, plus you get the beautiful scenery of Paris which in itself is a real delight.
