America's most mysterious source of UFO lore,Area 51 in the Nevada desert turns into a battlefield in this sci-fi adventure. Two warring aliens, one good, one evil crash-land on Earth and race to uncover a buried weapon that has the potential to destroy mankind. All of humanity is caught in the crosshairs as the aliens engage in an epic struggle for domination.

Alien films are always a welcomed genre and this another SciFi channel original is one of the better ones they have aired. I liked the movies "conspiracy" theme that during the Roswell incident at Area 51 something was left behind, and now they have come back to finish the job, a very cool idea and well written. This is an action packed film that never gives you the time to be bored, there's some good gore and the cgi is very well done. You don't watch a movie like this for it's acting but this one had an great cast including Jason London and Gigi Edgley from Farscape fame were the film's heroes and how can you not love a movie with the beautiful Christa Campbell in it, shame her role was limited but was nice to see her none the less. The Aliens were very interesting as well and the fight scenes reminded me of "Terminator". Over-all Area 51 is a fast-paced film with some nice plot twists along the way to make any fan of the genre happy. Released by First Look Studios. **** Out Of *****
