An alien race is searching for a new planet to call home and have decided it would have to be one that is not already occupied. But a band of scouts sent down first to earth have plans of their own and are building a portal so they can bring their armies down and wipe out the human race. But those that believe in leaving earth alone send their best, an agent named Ryker to stop them before it's too late.

Film's based on alien invasions have been done many times over so it's not an easy task to make one worth mentioning but Alien Agent took the old formula and gave it a fresh spin. this aliens have the ability to take the dead and reanimate them with their own life force but they also have super strength and the ability to see what others are doing. Billy Zane plays the lead rebel bent on destroying all life on earth and taking over the planet. The agent sent down to stop them is played by Mark Dacascos, I have always been a fan of Mark and h doesn't not disappoint here, this man was born to fight and he kicks some major ass as they film moves along. The film is well paced and it also has some light humor along the way to lighten the mood and it works well here. The film uses very little cgi which I think is most likely for the best here since the budget could not of been very high. Instead the film counts of action which there is plenty of and Director Jesse Johnson once again shows why someone needs to take notice of this man, his direction is flawless and I don't think there's many directors in Hollywood today that can do action like this man. Alien Agent is saved from being your average "B" film by it's cast and great fights scenes, if your a fan of action and sci-fi you need to pick this title up today, it's a high-octane thrill ride that entertains.
