Karla

Drama/Thriller Rated R. Based on real events, Paul Bernardo (Collins) and his wife, Karla Homolka (Prepon), kidnap, sexually abuse, and murder three young girls. This has to be one of the hardest and most disturbing film's you will ever see not so much for what you see on screen but because this is a true story. The story follows along with the what Karla told her psychiatrist what happened but the film and Director never make you believe all of what she said but instead it plays out and in the end really lets you decide how much a role you feel she had in these vicious crimes. The acting was great, both Laura Prepon and Misha Collins really brought these to real-life,very disturbed people to life. The settings and score also helped really set the mood for alot of the film and even with it's limited budget it brought out the story that needed to be told better I felt than any big budget counterpart could have. Yes this is a hard movie to watch but it's also an important one with the way our society is today so for anyone with any interest in this story I recommend you own this film today.
