A brutally sadistic rape leads to a series of bizarre gory murders during a midnight disco bowl-a-rama at a popular bowling alley. One by one, players of two teams meet blood-drenched gruesome deaths at the hand of a black bowling-gloved masked killer. This alley runs red with blood by sunrise.

After having the pleasure of seeing "Live Feed" I was excited about sitting down to Director Ryan Nicholson's newest film and I was not disappointed. The film is a homage to the old slasher movies from the 80's but even those could never shock, disgust and have you laughing like this film does. Let me tell you right now if you have a weak stomach for extreme sex or gore stay away from this film as this is hard-core and is a film made for those that like their horror to the extreme. The rape scene alone is very hard to watch but that is the point of it now isn't it? I am not going to go into details on what happens in the film as I am sure you read other reviews that gave you plenty insight on what happens but I don't think it does you any justice till you see the film for yourself. Credit must go out to Ryan Nicholson for making a film for those of us that are sick and tired of the water-downed PG-13 horror crap that has been coming out of Hollywood. Gutterballs does have its flaws like any movie but as far as a slasher film goes you are not going to find much better than this, the film has it all from some very creative killings to sex and even some very funny humor along the way, all mixed together to make for one of the most entertaining horror films I have seen lately. The characters may not be the most interesting, in fact you might even be rooting for a lot of them to get knocked off but the cast itself did a great job. This is the kind of gem that makes you realize why you love Independent cinema so much, Ryan has done a fantastic job not only paying homage to the genre but also making a refreshing horror film that any fan is sure to love. The DVD comes with Special Features that include:
