The Apocalypse

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sci-Fi NR. In this epic disaster film of faith, a mother and father search for their only child as a giant asteroid headed for Earth triggers a series of apocalyptic events. The Asylum is known for their horror titles and the great job they do on a little budget, The Apocalypse however is a completely different kind of film for them as its a Christian based end of days film. The basic story is the end of the world is near and loved ones search for one another to tell them they wanna be with them in the after-life as well and that they truly do love them. The story is centers on a few different character's but mainly focuses on one family as the mom and dad set out to search for their daughter. As always Rhett Giles is fantastic as is Jill Stapley and Kristen Quintrall, in fact the entire cast was just great. Besides the great characters and story of faith there's some amazing special effects here as well which compliments the story very well instead of taking over it. This is a great film for the churches around the country to show but is also one any fan of sci-fi and family drama will totally enjoy. Hats off to Director Justin Jones and writer/Producer David Michael Latt on making a film both touching and visually pleasing. Released by The Asylum Home Entertainment. ***** Out Of *****
