Psychological Thriller NR. A troubled young woman (Birch) wakes up one day as a different person - someone who is stalked by creatures. I was excited to see this film when I first heard about it and I wasn't disappointed as I found it to be refreshing if not original. Let's call this a kind of "Rosemary's Baby" meets "Jacob's Ladder" thriller with a good dose of black humor scattered just in the right spots of the film. Definitely not for anyone looking for a normal slasher film that doesn't demand you you think but for those looking for something more in a film this one offers alot to think about. I noticed there's clues scattered around in the film which can demand a second look for many. The cast is great, Thora Birch is fantastic and gives the performance of her young career here. There's not alot I can say about the story without giving away spoilers so all I will say is if your looking for something different and more intelligent than most Hollywood film's in this genre today I highly suggest you pick this title up today. Released by Anchor Bay Entertainment. **** Out Of *****
