Four college buddies find themselves on the adventure of their lives when, on the morning after a Las Vegas bachelor party, they end up stranded deep in Mexico. Penniless, being chased, falling in love, and fighting, they must make it back across the border in time for the wedding.

Four friends travel to Vegas to give one of their own the best and last good time of his life before he ties the knot and is no longer available for good. The plan starts off good after they arrive in Vegas and party hard with with strippers but soon their quest for fun takes a turn for the worse. After they sky dive out of a plane they end up in the middle of Mexico and from there it is one misadventure after the other. This is a classic tale of best friends, three men doing whatever it takes to show their not so willing buddy a good time regardless of what it costs. The cast of mostly unknowns do a terrific job and show great chemistry together. The adventures never stop, once they are in Mexico they are soon on the run from what appears to be a crime boss after his daughter takes off with the guys. I do have to say this is not at all what I expecting when I sat down to it. The film seems to just go from one mishap to another without a sense of reason until about 3/4 of the way in when certain things begin happening and you soon find out their was a mission to all this madness. It starts when Dean falls it love with the big guy's daughter, after she is grabbed up and taken back home Dean decides to go back for her to express his true love to her. Things get a crazy there as well and more adventures take place but I will stop here so not to give the end away but I can say the last 15 minutes wraps up the film very well. Ready or Not could of easily been a better film as the right ideas are there but it could of also been a lot worse. In the end I was left with a smile on my face and I had some nice laughs along the way and that was all I could of asked for. If you like comedy I recommend picking it up I am sure you will also find it to be entertaining. Released by Monarch Video. *** Out Of *****
