A small band of resistance fighters battle the cyborgs that have taken control of the planet.

The Asylum is back, this time with The Terminators and I don't think I have to tell you what is opening soon in theaters. When I saw the trailer to this I was looking forward to seeing it as it had some promise. One thing The Asylum has been able to do is bring in some well known actors to star in their films and maybe of them come back to do other movies as well and this one is no exception as it has a very good cast. You gotta love seeing Jeremy London and A Martinez in a film again and both do a terrific job. Also Paul Logan is believable as the TR4 and is menacing. The characters are not real complex but you get to know most of them enough to care about them and it does help the story along as well. The effects here are very good considering the budget of their movies, I think some of them have to be the best I have seen from The Asylum to date. People need to stop judging these movies on other big name films and just enjoy them for what they are, I mean you cannot expect a miracle from a low budget movie. I think this was a very entertaining movie with a 70's feel to it, it has a good pace and the story keeps you interested and there is even a twist or two along the way. I do admit I miss The Asylum and their horror and original movies they were doing but I also look forward to seeing which big budget film they mock next. Hell I have seen a few already that were better than their Hollywood counter parts so having lots of money doesn't make for a good film and at least The Asylum titles are always entertainment. I got to say I really enjoyed this one and again I think it is a step in the right direction as far as production values go. If your a fan of sci-fi I highly recommend picking this up just don't expect too much and you will have as much fun watching it as I did. This is one of the better titles from these guys and I look forward to what they got up their sleeves next. Released by The Asylum Home Entertainment. *** 1/2 Out Of *****
