Gray Matters

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Comedy/Romance Rated PG-13. They finish each other's sentences, dance like Fred and Ginger, and share the same downtown loft--the perfect couple? Not exactly. Gray and Sam (Heather Graham and Tom Cavanagh), are a sister and brother so compatible and inseparable that people actually assume they are dating. Mortified, they both agree they must branch out and start searching for love. He'll look for a guy for her and she'll look for a gal for him. But when Sam finds his perfect mate in Charlie (Bridget Moynahan) Gray's life turns inside out. For starters I liked the way Director Sue Kramer who also wrote the film, handled the subject matter in a delicate and funny way that is not offensive to anyone. This comedy worked on so many levels, the humor is very funny and timely and the cast delivers it to perfection. Speaking of the cast this one is perfect and includes Heather Graham,Thomas Cavanagh,Bridget Moynahan,Molly Shannon,Alan Cumming,Sissy Spacek and Rachel Shelley, all of these fine actors give fantastic performances, Molly Shannon and Alan Cumming steal every scene they are in and to me were the highlights of the film and Heather Graham and Thomas Cavanagh really have great chemistry here as brother and sister. I had a good time watching this movie and think anyone looking for some comedy and romance will a bit of a twist will also want to pick this up today. I am looking for to seeing more work from Director Sue Kramer soon as I felt she did a wonderful job making a very funny and sometimes touching film. Released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. **** Out Of *****
