The Crystal Lake Wiffle League is working to establish itself as one of the most competitive league's in all of the midwest, and with the commitment level of this year's players and managers the goal is officially in reach.

Just to let you guys know, I have no idea how to make websites or do this HTML stuff. So if this site is poorly organized and random, there is a reason behind it. Give me about two weeks and i should get this website making thing down, but for now I am just working on making it look like I know what I am doing and updating on a weekly basis. (Also, I want to give my respects to the boys out in Chico, for inspiring me with their amazing website www.wiffleball2k.com )

The CLWL plays across Crystal Lake, Illinois on various fields engineered and erected by members of the league. As you notice to the right, distinct landmarks (such as this massive gorilla in center) set fields made by the CLWL above the competition.

The style of Wiffle that the CLWL plays is the modified midwestern art known as breakspeed wiffle. With the mound a mere 32 feet away from home plate, throwing the ball at 80-90 mph seemed unreasonable and unhittable. Therefore, pitchers may throw hard, but only hard enough to put a break on the ball. Violating this rule is known as a Pedro and this is what sets the CLWL away from the other league's across the US.
