Kevin Gilbride is A Dick

I Suck
This Man Sucks

Kevin Gilbride is the Bills offensive coordinator and he is single handingly trying to ruin whatever post season and/or Super Bowl chances they have. In the offseason the Bills got a handful of awesome defensive players, a smash mout blocking fullback in Sam Gash and lost a speed threat in Peerless Price. So one would think that they would use a rushing attack lead by a pro bowl back in Travis Henry? No, instead they have become the most predictable passing team ever. I don't think a team has ever passed more on third and short than the Bills this year ever. Note to Kevin Gilbride: when you run a three yard passing play every third and one or two it stops becoming a wacky, unthinkable play and becomes really predictable and does not work. Every other team in the NFL has figured it out, you might as well too.

Gilbride Update 10/19/03
Ok, the Bills just won 24-7 over the Redskins and the Bills had an excellent game plan. Travis Henry got something like 167 yards on 31 carries. And Bledsoe threw effectively especially with the play action pass. So good job Gilbride, at least you listened to every fan and the entire media of western New York. I'm not going to get too excited yet though, Gilbride still made some dumb calls and he still has 9 games left. How long can he last until he calls 30 passing plays in a half? I still don't think he can do it.
Update 11/9
The Bills just lost to the Cowboys 10-6. The defense played pretty awesome and made Quincy Carter look like the second round bust that he is. The offensive did make some considerable improvements too. They score two field goals this game, which is one more that they have been able to put up in thier last two road losses. Way to double you're output guys, good job. At this rate the bills should be getting over 20 points by decemeber just in time for the playoff run. Hey gilbride, Travis Henry has 30 yards on like 18 carries by the end of the third quarter, maybe we should run him and get at least one physical, touchdown scoring drive. Nah, lets let Drew "I don't have use of my legs" Bledsoe stand in the pocket and get nailed. Good idea dick wad. I just want everyone to know that when Gilbride gets fired I'm having a "Kevin Gilbride Finally got Fired" party where we'll celebrate how much he sucked. Keep that in mind when the season ends. I hope it happens when I'm home in rochester for christmas because there will be alot more people around to enjoy it. And Kevin, if you read this your not invited.

Update 11/17
The Bills, the same Bills who put up 38 points without a sweat over the Jaguars week 2 managed jsut 10 points at home against the newest team in the NFL, the Houston Texans. Worst of all, four of the points came off two safeties and one of the field goals was set up by a Winfield interception deep in Texans territory. So the offense basically managed three points again. This isn't totally fair since Lindell did miss two field goals and Sam Aikens dropped a touch down pass. But, whatever, they output is still horrible against a defense ranked in the bottom in every category when you are playing at home. Travis Henry had 149 yards one leg and the bills could still not manage a touch down. Suppossedly, if you can run the ball as well as the bills have been doing you're suppossed to win games. I'm not sure how Gilbride has fucked this one up but I watched the game on sunday and it was awful. The play calling, Bledsoe's technique in dropping back, it just all looked awkward and never gave the bills a chance at gaining momentum. It was the Texans, really what can you say to make this even look good. AVP rocks.
Update 12/2
First, its Britney Spears' birthday. I think we should all take the time out of our day to thank her for that catholic school girl outfit in baby, one more time. God, I believe that put on video what millions of us had in our heads for years. Well at least in a non-pornographic way. However, the Bills finally won again and the offense made down field passes and ran Travis Henry to put the game away. Finally after 3/4 of the season is over Gildick finally figured it out. Lets see how long he remebers. I will say one nice thing about Kevin though, on 4th and 4 with two minutes left it was a nice call to go for it using a tight end end around. It secured the victory, kept the ball on the ground and the giants would never think of the bills to run that play. Thats the once nice comment you get from me this season Gilbride
