Welcome to the Outraged Nebraskans Website. My name is Holly. I am the editor and creator of this website. I am Heather Poppe's Best-Friend. This website is here for those looking to help on the case against Robin F. Siefker of Lincoln in the Death of Heather A. Poppe on November 28, 2002 at approx. 12:40am CST. The incident occured near Mile Marker 394 on Interstate 80 West of Lincoln, Nebraska. This incident took the innocent life of 19 year old Heather A. Poppe, originally of Kearney. Heather was on her way home to Milford, NE from where she worked in Lincoln, NE, when Siefker drove across the median and slammed into her head-on, killing her instantly. It is alleged that he did this purposely to commit suicide. He failed. He instead took the life of a young innocent woman. There was an empty bottle of liquor, and some empty bottles of prescription pills found inside the truck. And there were pills that were found in his stomach at the hospital. According to newspaper reports on the search warrants, he left a briefcase with a friend that evening with a suicide note, a will and some financial documents inside. From what this man has shown, he feels no guilt or remorse for what he has done. Some members of his family feel the same way, as his Mother told me and Heather's Family, and I quote "Oh get over it!" Robin F. Siefker, is being charged with Manslaughter in the Third Degree for Heather A. Poppe's death. There is enough evidence that has since come in to support a higher charge. The family is seeking a Murder One charge. In order to get a Grand Jury assembled to look at the evidence and decide on the charges, a petition is being circulated around Lancaster County for registered voters to sign in support of the family's efforts. If you are a citizen in the United States, doesn't have to be Nebraska, and you are outraged that Robin F. Siefker is only being charged with Manslaughter Three, in the Death of Heather A.
