THE MYTH OF INTERCESSION
THE MYTH OF INTERCESSION
To believe that anyone, other than Allah, can intercede on our behalf to have our sins forgiven or our wishes fulfilled, is to set up partners with Allah. This is idol worship. The Qur’aan 39:44 proclaims that “All intercession belongs to Allah entirely.”:
Qur’aan 39:44
Say, “All intercession belongs to Allah entirely.” To Him belongs the kingship of the galactic heavens and the planet earth, then to Him you will be returned.
And the Qur’aan 2:254 also proclaims that there will be “no intercession on the Day of Judgement.”:
Qur’aan 2:254
O you who believe, give from Our provisions to you, before a day comes where there is no trade, no nepotism, and no intercession. The disbelievers are the unjust.
The myth of intercession is one of Shaytaan’s most effective tricks that has duped millions of people into idol worship. Millions of Christians believe that Jesus will intercede for them in the presence of the Creator and millions of Muslims believe that Muhammad will intercede on their behalf. Consequently, these people idolize Jesus and Muhammad.
The concept of intercession is utterly illogical. Those who believe in Muhammad’s intercession, for example, claim that he will ask Allah to forgive them and admit them into Paradise. They imagine Muhammad on the Day of Judgement choosing the candidates for his intercession. If you ask those who believe in intercession: “How will Muhammad recognize those who deserve his intercession?” they tell you, “Allah will tell him!” According to this concept, a person will go to Muhammad and request his intercession. Muhammad will then ask Allah whether this person deserves his intercession or not. Allah will inform Muhammad that the person deserves to go to Paradise. Muhammad will then turn around and tell Allah that the person deserves to go to Paradise! The blasphemy is obvious; those who believe in intercession make Allah a secretary of their idol Muhammad. Allah be glorified.
Since the Qur’aan is the most accurate book in existence, it acknowledges that everyone in Paradise will intercede on behalf of his or her loved ones: “Please Allah, admit my mother into Paradise.” This intercession will work if the person’s mother deserves to go to Paradise (Qur’aan 2:255; 20:109; 21:28), but if she does not deserve to go to Paradise, no matter how much you plea and beg, your intercession will not grant her into the gates of Paradise. Thus, intercession, though it will take place in this manner, is utterly useless.
We learn from the Qur’aan that Abraham, the friend of Allah, could not intercede on behalf of his father (Qur’aan 9:114). Noah could not intercede on behalf of his son (Qur’aan 11:46). Muhammad could not intercede on behalf of his uncle (Qur’aan 111:1-3) or relatives (Qur’aan 9:80). What makes anyone think that a prophet or a saint will intercede on behalf of a perfect stranger?!!! See also Qur’aan 2:48, 123; 6:51, 70, 94; 7:53; 10:3; 19:87; 26:100; 30:13; 32:4; 36:23; 39:44; 40:18; 43:86; 53:26; 74:48.
QUESTION:
NOW ASK THE ORTHODOX SUNNI MUSLIMS, CAN THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD INTERCEDE FOR MUSLIMS ON THE LAST DAY?
ANSWER:
Orthodox Sunni Muslims believe he will, but according to the Qur’aan, no one can intercede for you on the last day. The concept of intercession (Shafaa’ah) implies ALLAH has partners who intercede with HIM or on HIS behalf.
Intercession is idol worship and those who believe this, idolize Prophet Muhammad. Intercession is a distorted concept which Orthodox Sunni Muslims get from their Satanic innovations called hadiyth. They fabricated hadiyth to back up their made-up theory that Prophet Muhammad will intercede for you on the last day, thus read their following two sick hadiyth we have provided for you to analyse and see how they contradict the Qur’aan:
98. NARRATED ABU HURAIRAH: I SAID O ALLAH’S MESSENGER! WHO WILL BE THE LUCKIEST PERSON, WHO WILL GAIN YOUR INTERCESSION ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION? ALLAH’S MESSENGER SAID: O ABU HURAIRA! I HAVE THOUGHT THAT NO ONE WILL ASK ME ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU AS I KNOW YOU’RE LONGING FOR THE (LEARNING OF) HADIYTHS. THE LUCKIEST PERSON WHO WILL HAVE MY INTERCESSION WILL BE THE ONE WHO SAID SINCERILY FROM THE BOTTOM OF HIS HEART “NONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPPED BUT ALLAH.”
Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 1
571. NARRATED IMRAN BIN HUSAIN: THE PROPHET SAID, SOME PEOPLE WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE FIRE THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF MUHAMMAD, THEY WILL ENTER PARADISE AND WILL BE CALLED AL JAHANNAMIYIN [THE (HELL) FIRE PEOPLE].
Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 8
Now, here we have two ahadiyth (plural for hadiyth) that makes Prophet Muhammad an intercessor, which is a direct contradiction and violation of the Qur’aan. Don’t you Orthodox Sunni Muslims have any taqwa left!!! Intercession is one of Satan’s most effective tricks to dupe the people into idolizing their Prophets. Many Muslims have been duped by the hadiyth (which they falsely call the sunna) into idolizing Prophet Muhammad. Allah tells us Muslims that His Holy Book ( The Qur’aan) is complete, perfect, fully detailed and that it explains all things (Qur’aan 6:114-115; 16:89; 6:38; 12:111; 7:52) so if ALLAH meant for Muslims to know that Prophet Muhammad was indeed an intercessor on his behalf, HE (ALLAH) would have clearly stated that in the Qur’aan, but on the contrary ALLAH did NOT mention that Prophet Muhammad would be an intercessor on HIS behalf. Again this is idol worship and by definition this is SHIRK (which means to bind partners with Allah), this is the only sin that Allah will not forgive you for (Qur’aan 4:48). TRUTH IS TRUTH. Now take another look at the following hadiyth up above: Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 8. This Satanic innovation is very questionable just like the rest of all of them. Why would Prophet Muhammad say that “people will be taken out of the fire through my intercession????”. Why did he not speak in the first person unless it was somebody else saying this instead of him? The ahadiyth (plural for hadiyth) are not the words of Prophet Muhammad; he would have never uttered such words that are found in them because Allah would have punished Prophet Muhammad if he would have uttered or went to any other source outside the Qur’aan, read Qur’aan 69:44-47. Prophet Muhammad is a Divine Messenger and Prophet of Allah and he would never go against the Divine Commands of Allah, like you Orthodox Sunni Muslims do. This is how you must start to see hadiyth and question them, not just accept them, for they are not the truth. There are even quotes in the Qur’aan that have been mistranslated to include Allah granting intercession because it would benefit their purpose. Yusuf Ali translates the following quote wrongly. You will note that it seems like it was translated by someone who was influenced by the Orthodox Sunni Muslim belief of “intercession”:
Qur’aan 39:44
Say: “To Allah belongs exclusively (the right to grant) intercession:...”
Mistranslation by Yusuf Ali
This is not what the Arabic is saying at all. The words that are in the brackets “the right to grant” are not there and neither is it implied in the Arabic text. It is their (Orthodox Sunni Muslims) diabolical conspiracy to mistranslate the Qur’aan so they can leave room to say that Prophet Muhammad is an intercessor besides Allah, as well as many other foolish things that are found in their Satanic innovations called: HADIYTH. Below I have broken up each Arabic word in Qur’aan 39:44 so that the sincere Muslims can use this as a tool to combat these so-called Orthodox Sunni Muslims who are out here in the world (Qur’aan 6:116; 9:97):
JAMILAA SHAFAA’AH LILLAAHI QUL
1. QUL=say
2. LILLAAHI=Allah
3. SHAFAA'AH=intercession
4. JAMILAA=belongs exclusively
Again we can clearly see that the words in Yusuf Ali’s mistranslation: “the right to grant” are not there and neither is it implied and this is the reason why you will NOT find it in other people’s translations of the Qur’aan:
“Say, All intercession belongs to Allah entirely” by Amatul Rahman Omar
and Abdul Mannan Omar
“Say, “All intercession belongs to God” by Rashad Khalifa
“Say: Allah’s is the intercession altogether” by Maulana Muhammad
“Say unto Allah belongs all intercession” by Marmaduke Pickthall
“Say: Allah’s is the intercession altogether” by M.H. Shakir
“Say: “Intercession is wholly in the hands of Allah” by Muhammad Malik
“Say, ‘All intercession rests with Allah.” by Malik Ghulam Farid
The Orthodox Sunni Muslims are definitely going against the Qur’aan by saying that Prophet Muhammad will intercede for them when the Qur’aan clearly states:
Qur’aan 6:51
So warn by means of this (Qur’aan) those who fear that they shall be gathered before their Lord-they have none besides Him as a lord and master, nor an intercessor-so (warn them) that they may guard against evil.
The Orthodox Sunni Muslims are preaching a Christianized form of Islaam and they are grafting their watered down version of it in Qur’aanic translations. They are including the “concepts of Hadiyth” into translations of the Qur’aan which is a sin. The Orthodox Sunni Muslims don’t realize the punishment that is in store for them, for they are distorting the words of ALLAH.
Now what was the purpose and duty of Prophet Muhammad? Allah has sent Muhammad into this world to deliver the Qur’aan and to be the Seal or the Last and Final Prophet:
Qur’aan 25:1
Blessed is He (Allah) who sent down the distinction (The Qur’aan) unto his servant (Muhammad) to be a warning to all the peoples of the Boundless Universes.
Qur’aan 33:40
Muhammad was not the father of any man among you. He was a messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets. Allah has full knowledge of all things.
Note that since Prophet Muhammad is the Seal of the Prophets, that means that there will be no other Prophets coming after Muhammad of Arabia and the Qur’aan will be the Seal or Last and Final scripture before the Day of Judgement, for the simple fact that Muhammad is the Seal of the Prophets. Now, the only mission Prophet Muhammad had was to deliver the MESSAGE:
Qur’aan 42:48
Your sole mission is delivering the message.
Qur’aan 16:82
your sole mission is the clear delivery (of the message).
