Excel is a service club affiliated with the San Leandro Exchange Club. Our main purpose is to improve our community, and school with volunteerism. In addition, Excel members help aid our local Exchange Club with it’s national project: preventing child abuse. Being members of Excel, Excel members develop leadership skills, networking skills, and even get to learn more about their community. Throughout the year, members of the club have obtained many opportunities to participate in local events and even completing senior service hours. Among the highlights of this year was the KQED Radio Pledge Drive Event where Excel members get to travel to San Francisco and do community service. How fun! Excel members answered phone calls, filled out forms, and even get to tour around the KQED station. If you want to help out the community with fun events, come join our club! WE MEET EVERY FRIDAYS AT LUNCHTIME IN ROOM 422!
