Word direct from Slipknot's top-secret recording studio indicates that the band has now completed work on their eagarly-anticipated second album. While there's still no official title yet,the band members seem to feel that they've taken everything that made them such a smash with their self-titled debut and moved it on to the next evolutionary level. "Everything on this record is just a little 'more,' "said Shawn (the Clown). "It's more intense, more accessible, more everything."
Sid Wilson #0 is working on an album solo,it's still in the making but should be out around next month or so. The album is called"DJ Starscream",it should have some killer tracks,and no it's not gonna have any kind of rap shit in it, it's mostly gonna have a hard-techno sound.there will be more updates on Sid's new album.
Slipknot is working on their new album, this could be the reason for there recent cancelations in some locations throughout the US.
Their second album is for I AM/Roadrunner with producer Ross Robinson and hope to have it hit stores around Spring 2001. They confirmed that the first single/track from the upcoming album is People=Shit. Shawn has a new mask.
Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor (#8) has announced at Tattoo The Earth that Craig Jones #5 (Samples) will be missing a few shows lately due to a death in the family. This is the definate story why Craig is missing some of the concerts.
Slipknot are not planning to re-shoot the video for ''Spit It Out''so it will get airplay. If MTV or any other corperate mongul doesn't want to play it, nobody cares.
Slipknot will be releasing a new digipak version of their self titled debut album that features 6 extra tracks on September 26th through Roadrunner Records.
According to Roadrunner Records,the upcoming Slipknot digipak edition of their
self titled debut album will feature 6 all new tracks, which are comprised of remixes,live tracks, demos and more along with all new packaging.Other news says it will hit stores on September 26th,but it's already out as an import going for $29.95,expensive but worth it.
For the new album sid will have a new gas mask that
will have pulsated lites and shit. Also they are working on new drum sets
that raise up and down and do cool shit during concerts.
