Well the new record is out, they’re $3, we should have some at our next show at the El N Gee…our release show at Uconn went way better than I could have ever anticipated. Thanks to everyone that came out for that shit, it was ridiculous. The Anthem show was decent, it would have been more fun if more people came out, but Anthem was still fucking dope and that’s all I really care about. We had a show in Boston of 4/20, but Madball is playing the same day in Boston so we may not play…as of right now it doesn’t look like the full length will be written by summer or anything, but we may be touring this summer, but I’ve heard that bullshit before so I’m not gonna hold my breath…that’s about it for now I guess, y’all muthafuckaz don’t even look at this shit anyway so fuck ya…3/21

What’s better than doing homework? That’s right, updating shitty websites…we’ve got a show this weekend at UConn, we’re playing first at 7 and the rest of the lineup escapes me, but I know Anton Bordman is playing…the show for the 15th ain’t gonna happen, but the Anthem reunion is still going on, as is our record release on Mar. 1…we also have a show at the El N Gee on Mar. 30 w/ Kill Your Idols and Youth Attack, as well as Reflections. Reflections is me on guitar, Ryan from Stab Ya on drumz, Kyle from Frenzy on bass, and MexiDave (although I heard he hates being called that) on vocals, and we play generic, integ/ringworm/buried alive-style hardcore. Come out and start fights. Or don’t cuz it’s a benefit for the El N Gee. But no, seriously, come start fights. We also have a possible show at URI sometime in mid-March w/ Verse (ex. WFTF and Carry the Torch and Anthem aka probably awesome) and Frenzy. From what I hear our split is coming along pretty well and we’re probably going to start writing for the full-length this weekend. Expect more of what you got on the last release, maybe a little more of the older style incorporated though. Anyway, if you’re booking shows or something, drop me an email. Haven’t updated this in a while…well the show in Waterbury was weird, all I can say is always play cover songs last…I understand that some people were upset with Frenzy, to them I say (even though I doubt any of them are reading this) lighten the fuck up, have fun, and get out of the way if you must…the show in Norwich was the best show EVER…from Kyle’s monster speaker dive to several persons hitting a scarecrow-looking kid, it was basically nonstop mosh…excellent time, it’ll be hard to beat that show…what else is new, um, not sure when the split with Schematic is coming out but I believe we’re playing the release show on Mar. 1 at UConn…speaking of shows, we have several coming up, some confirmed, some not…Feb. 15 at WPI in Worcester with an unconfirmed lineup, possibly Tear It Up and Fanshen, Feb. 21 in North Haven, CT is the Anthem reunion show with Red Reaction and several other bands, and we may be playing a few other shows, we’ll see what happens…we’re thinking of writing a full length to have out sometime in the summer when we will hopefully be touring a little bit, but who knows if that will materialize, because we sure as shit are not gonna put it out on our own…three recordings in less than a year is good enough…anyway, I don’t even know why I’m updating this, no one reads this bullshit anyway…someone drop an email sometime I’m lonely and cool…1/14

Well, it would seem I haven’t updated this in a while…that’s because I really have nothing new to say and nothing new really has happened. Well actually…two shows…Dec. 12th at the VFW in Waterbury, CT Tear It Up, XfilesX, The Horror, Frenzy, Stab You In The Head...email me for directions or whatever, or just look around it’s not that hard to find…Dec. 27th at the Marquis Café (or whatever it’s called now, under new ownership) Stab You In The Head, Frenzy, Blame the Victim, and some more bands, I’m really not totally sure, maybe I’ll post the lineup here but in all likelihood I will not…also, looking at the guestbook, I feel I should address something (not like anyone reads this anyway)…our record at Newbury is like $5, which is completely ridiculous, we sold them for like 2 bucks each to the store…if you wanna buy a record, email me or pick it up at a show, they’re 3 bucks...basically it means less money for you and us (Bobby) will be that much less in debt…I guess it’s good that they’ve been selling well at Newbury, but seriously, buy them from us…we’re recording this weekend, we’re doing four new songs and we’re rerecording DIY or PEE for our split (complete with sweet intro and hard ending mosh)…we’re so fucking hard…MADBALL!!! 12/4/02

Well…I said the site would receive more attention, and I guess that was a lie. Stabyouinthehead played this past weekend at UMass with Frenzy, Blame the Victim, Red Reaction, and a couple other bands that I forget the names of right now…we played about 4 songs, probably our shortest set ever, but considering we weren’t even scheduled to play, it worked out pretty well…we finally have a bassist in the form of Joesiell, who also plays bass with For All It’s Worth…we’re still practicing with him and trying to teach him all the old songs…to see us fuck up in a live setting, we’re playing Oct. 25th at Brass City records in Waterbury with Trillion Barnacle Lapse and a couple more bands…Bobby showed me the layouts for the tapes thus far, and they’re fuckin’ tight…we’ll be selling some limited edition ones that come in hand-screened boxes with a patch (so you can sell them on ebay to buy crack someday), and they should be available at the show on the 25th…in other news, we’re recording for our split with Schematic of a Waking Life (instead of Nailgun the Kitten, since they broke up) on Dec. 7 at Dead Air (same day as the CT Madball show!)…we’re recording 3 or 4 new songs plus one or two old ones redone (cuz we’re fucking hacks, plus the Converge ending is getting stupid)…it will still come out on Redscroll and should be available whenever, I have no clue…that’s it, until then fuckin mosh!!!

Alright I haven’t updated this in quite a whil but this is important…our 7” is finally out now. That’s right, after months of fucking sitting on these songs and waiting this shit is finally out. Hola. The 7” covers are in and the actual vinyl is just days away from arrival. Not that anyone cares or reads this page or anything…oh yeah we got stickers too get some at a show. Also, I made a zine called xFetalPositionx it has interviews with White Trash Rob from Blood for Blood, Hirax Maxxx from Spazz/WxHxNx/625 Thrashcore, and Kyle from Frenzy, along with a few rants, some show and record reviews and that’s about it. Hmmm, it’s been quite a while since the last update, whatever, who gives a fuck I got shit to do…well, guess what, it looks like the label thing ain’t happening, so we’re doing this 7” d.i.y….you heard right Cirroc, B sent out the final mix (which sounds devastating) to get it mastered onto vinyl the other day and finished the layout, which I believe has also been sent out to get printed…we should probably have the whole shit back to us ready for sale by late June/early July…also in the works is a split with Frenzy, who are recording for their demo this weekend…not sure what songs they’ll be putting on, but we’ve got a few new songs and couple of new covers (more tattoos?) that we should be recording sometime next month if all goes well…we were supposed to play a house show tonight, but some people are idiots and don’t ask their roommate about having one until a three days before the show when all the flyers have been made…hmmm, very gay…anyway we’ve got two shows next weekend, Saturday May 25th at some house somewhere, and the 26th at the Marquis Café again…come out and kill…oh yeh, I got a couple of nice flicks I might put up sometime soon, but probably not…kings destroy…5/18

Hello all…well Bobby and I made a bunch of tapes today to send off to labels in hopes of getting our 7” released, hopefully we won’t get rejected by all of them…we got the master copy of the demo and it sounds alright, but we might need to remix it, so be patient…or don’t…we’re making some more shirts very soon with a bunch of knives and shit on them, so they look fairly tough…also the layout for the 7” is the bomb thus far…our show with EGH went alright, I think we played the shortest set we’ve ever played before. I’m not so positive that many people liked us but whatever, that was some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing a show. However, Robert is a very gay individual for making me leave before EGH came on, and for that I’m not sure if I can truly forgive him…whatever, thank you to Blake and everyone else for getting us the show, and hopefully EGH will be back soon to demolish CT…that’s it, stay bombing and keep it loose…4/13

Wow this is definitely the shortest time between updates, I am so gay…well, we recorded the songs for our 7” this past Saturday and let me say they came out awesome. They still need to have the final mix done and have some blank spaces taken out before the songs, but the quality is incredible. Thanks to Dan for letting our poor asses record for much longer than 180 bones would normally allow. Also thank you to For All It’s Worth for helping us out with backing vocals (and tremendous thanks to Chino for giving me a low E string after I broke mine doing my last overdub)…we’re not totally sure what songs we’ll be putting on the 7”, but the songs we recorded were the microwave song, the father song, the mcdonald’s song, awesomest breakdown ever, bees song part one, first song ever, fuck the video nazi, d.i.y. or p.e.e., what did you expect, where I stand (ten yard fight), stand hard (youth of today), and the fucking pizza song. The pizza song will never be put on a 7” as long as I’m still living so don’t get your hopes up when you see it isn’t on there…maybe I’ll put some mp3’s of the songs up…NO I WON’T BECAUSE 1. I DON’T KNOW HOW TO and 2. MP3’S ARE ABOUT AS COOL AS THE EL N GEE. Buy some fucking vinyl when it comes out and quit being an idiot…also, this Saturday is a show at zoogie’s in Waterbury with Sworn Enemy, Full Blown Chaos, Untold Truth, and..hmmm…EVERYBODY GETS HURT?!?!?! YES, PLEASE!!! The guy who’s setting up the show is supposed to get back to me about whether or not we’re playing, but I’ll let you in on a little secret…WE’RE FUCKING PLAYING!!! It’s been a while since this page was updated but no one looks at it anyway so whatever…we played a show a few weeks ago at the marquis café in Norwich, ct and it was the bomb…I missed frenzy and for that I’m sorry…I’m also sorry that I stayed to watch suiciety, jesus Christ…thanks, however, to disgust, everyone that brought the mosh for us, and bryan for getting it all (not really all of it though) on film…the show will be party of an upcoming syithaeyfo home video that I’ll be doing for my senior project…anyway, we’re recording on Saturday for our 7” as well as the lifetime tribute I believe, even though we don’t know the song and it sucks anyway…we’re covering “Anchor” whatever the fuck that means…also, in the near future look for us to be covering “stabbed in the back” and “standing hard” both by youth of today (and if you didn’t know that you should be beaten with colored vinyl and/or test pressings)…also, it’s official, syithaeyfo is now 100% sxe, so watch the fuck out…(3/27/02)

Well, Stabyouinthehead has not been doing much as of late...we played our show at the german club in late november, and we basically did not practice for about a month...bobby and ryan went to europe for a few weeks, i became an alcoholic, and no shows occurred...things are changing though, we have a show with as the sun sets coming up soon, check the shows page for the lowdown on all that...also, there's talk of possibly doing a song on a lifetime tribute 7", even though lifetime sucks it should still be alright...more info on that as it develops or IF it develops...if anyone has a pa or a sizeable guitar amp that they don't want drop me an email i want it...later 1/25/02
