Kurt Cobain: We will never know
Information:
Frances and Courtney, I'll be at your altar
And another thing, why would Kurt continue his letter even though he already formally ended it?
Preface-
I have been researching this case for quite awhile, but so much of the evidence has been in some way changed or mutilated by the press. It was hard finding legitimate information, even the "suicide note" was (I believe) been tampered with, making it hard to say this was suicide or homicide. Whether or not Courtney Love actually put the gun in his mouth or not, she is guilty of being a source of the problem, you can tell by his lyric. But, I don't think he had the heart to hurt her, or let her see him in so much pain, which I think is the reason he left, he didn't want to hurt his wife or daughter.
But I can come to one conclusion, this is a sad happening that will be grieved over for many years to come, I pity his daughter and I hope she grows up to have her fathers heart and not be like her mother. Even if Courtney was found to be guilty of conspiracy or homicide would Kurt want her to be sent to jail?

The police mishandled her case, like Kurts, which raised question.
Friends say Kurt was not suicidal:
Courtney led people to believe that Kurt was suicidal and a heavy drug user in his last days alive. But many of his close friends say that he was not suicidal or using drugs.
Bassist Tony Barber," "I know he was not taking drugs on that tour. He was walking around drinking Evian water and looking clean every time I saw him. He didn't seem to consider himself a star...He seemed like a shy bloke who didn't have many friends. Often when I was talking to him, I felt like saying something like, "Look, if you need a mate just to go for a drink with or anything, I'm here." And then I came home last night and saw it on the news. I couldn't believe it. It's just so sad." (Melody Maker's April 16 1994 edition).
Pete Shelley vocalist and guitarist, "He seemed really clean when we were on tour. In some ways it was a bit awkward because he wasn't really joining in the very mild debauchery that went on." (Melody Maker, April 16 1994.)
Joe Mama visited Kurt at the Exodus rehab on April 1 1994, He said, "I was ready to see him looking like shit and depressed. He looked so fucking great." (Cobain by the editors of Rolling Stone page 83. Also see Rossi's Queen of Noise page 193).
Peter Cleary The thing you have to remember about all the talk of Kurt being suicidal is that all the talk only started when Courtney came out after the death and said Rome was a suicide attempt and the media picked up on all her examples of Kurt being suicidal. That's when all these people started saying,'Of course he was suicidal, just listen to his music.' But that's a bunch of crap. Sure he was a moody guy and got depressed quite often. That applies to a hell of a lot of people, including me. But nobody ever talked about Kurt being suicidal before he died, Nobody. Why do you think everybody who knew him was so surprised when Courtney said that Rome was a suicide attempt?. I've read all this ignorant bullshit in the media pointing to the fact that Kurt wanted to call In utero 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' It was a joke, for chrissake. That was his warped sense of humour. He was the most sarcastic guy you'll ever meet. He was not suicidal, at least not when I knew him, and I knew him for the last year of his life." (a friend of Kurt’s from Seattle. WKKC? page 92).
Mark Lanegan I never knew (Kurt) to be suicidal, I just knew that he was going through a really tough time." (Cobain by the editors of Rolling Stone page 90).
Rosemary Carroll "Kurt wasn't suicidal Tom. He wasn't suicidal." (in a conversation with Tom Grant in April 1994, WKKC? page 119).
Dylan Carlson "Kurt was facing lots of pretty heavy things but he was actually pretty upbeat. He was prepared to deal with things facing him." (Kurt’s best friend, talking to the Seattle Post Intelligencer April 15 1994).
Dylan Carlson "At the time (they went to buy the gun, 30 March 1994,) Kurt definitely wasn't suicidal or I would never have bought the gun. He was my best friend. I would have known if Rome was a suicide. No way. A year earlier I would have believed it because of the pain, but he wasn't talking like that anymore. He was making all kinds of plans for when he got back from rehab." (WKKC? page 91).
Dr. Galleta "The last image I have of him, which in the light of the tragedy now seems pathetic, is of a young man playing with the little girl (Frances). He did not seem like a young man who wanted to end it all." (The doctor who treated Kurt after the Rome incident.)
Dylan Carlson In the summer of 1993, Kurt experienced what he called "a miracle". After years of consulting specialists about his debilitating stomach pain, he found a doctor who finally diagnosed the problem - a pinched nerve relating to his scoliosis. Once the problem was diagnosed, it became treatable and Kurt finally rid himself of his daily agony. From this point on, many people detected a change in Kurt's personality;
"Kurt became a new person after that. He stopped retreating into the dark side that everybody came to associate with him and actually seemed cheerful. Part of it was Frances, I think, but the stomach thing was the most important". (WKKC? page 86).
Rolling Stone Cobain spent two days at the 20-bed clinic (Exodus) He talked to several psychologists there, none of whom considered him suicidal. (Cobain by the editors of Rolling Stone page 83).
Courtney wanted a divorce:
Kurt was in the process of leaving Seattle and his wife Courtney, when he was found dead.
Courtney knew Kurt wanted out of the marriage. Just weeks prior to his death, she asked one of her attorneys to get the "meanest, most vicious divorce lawyer" she could find.
Peter Cleary "He and Courtney hadn't been getting along. The only thing keeping them together was Frances, but Kurt had been talking of a divorce and trying to get custody." (WKKC? page 87).
Grant believes the main reason is that she was facing a divorce. She apparently admits on tape that the note from Rome mentioned Kurt wanting a divorce. She also admits destroying that note, by the way. Kurt Cobain had his Will re-done in March 1994, which excluded Courtney. Sadly he didn't get the chance to sign it. Rosemary Carroll, Love's attorney, allegedly told Grant that Courtney wanted her to get "meanest, most vicious divorce lawyer" should could find a few weeks earlier. She was clearly preparing to fight it.
Grant claims with a divorce, Courtney would have gotten half, at best, of Cobain's fortune since they had a prenuptial agreement, and also could have lost their daughter to him. With a "suicide", she got everything. Grant says she also got a lot of publicity, which resulted in a lot of fans that ran out and bought the "Live Through This" album by her own band Hole. An album which was released a few days after Kurt was found dead.
Someone was using his credit card post-mortem:
One of Kurt's credit cards was missing when his body was discovered.
Someone was attempting to use the missing credit card after Cobain died, but the attempts stopped when his body was discovered.
Later the credit card was cancelled by Courtney Love.
Kurt Cobain was in fear of his life:
Kurts friend Dylan Carlson bought the shotgun for Kurt before he left for rehab, not after like Courtney says. The gun was meant for protection not suicide. The gun was not checked for fingerprints for four monthc after his death, also it was fully loaded.
The suicide note was tampered with:
It is obvious that the bottom lines:
Please keep going Courtney,
for Frances.
for her life will be so much happier
without me. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU
Were written by a different hand Cobain writes with a forward slant, the hand that wrote the bottom lines wrote with a backward slant.
Besides the tampering, the note says absoleutly nothing about suicide, he was just leaving the band, not saying goodbye, forever.
Here is the Translation of the note
Courtney had a second note:
Tom Grant says that Courtney had a second note, she let the information slip in an interview with Rolling Stones Magazine. The second note explains that he was leaving the band and Courtney. It says nothing about suicide.
Kurt Cobain had three times a lethal dosage of heroin:
Cobain's heroin, (morphine), blood level was 1.52 mgs per liter. This would require a minimum injection of 225 mgs of heroin, three times a lethal dose. Why would he shoot himself if he could just die in his sleep? Wouldn't Kurt be instantlly incapacitated with that amount of heroin, which means he couldn't shoot himself?
Cobain was not barricated in his room:
A stool was supposedly wedged against the door, was actually just sitting in front of two unlocked doors that led to the balcony.
What happened in Rome?:
Hours after Courtney Love and Michael DeWitt joined Kurt in Rome, Courtney and Kurt had an arguement, Kurt decided to leave her, later Kurt was near death in a hospital in Rome.
Courtney told Select magazine: "If he thinks he can get away from me that easily, he can forget it. I'll follow him through hell."
Tom Grant believes that the overdose was a plot to kill Kurt made by Courtney. He had inhaled Rohypnol while drinking, probably done without Kurts knowledge.
Courtney had Kurt transferred while still in grave condtion, probably in hopes to weaken him, prevent his recovery. To kill him.
Courtney did an interview with Select magazine, the writer said that during this interview Love was popping Rohypnol: There is a box of Rohypnol on the big mahogony table in the middle of Courtney Love's London hotel room, among the scattered papers and cigarette boxes. "Look, I know this is a controlled substance," she smiles as she empties one of those fizzy stomach upset powders into a tumbler of water and washes back a Rohypnol. "I got it from my doctor. It's like Valium. You know, fuck that Prozac stuff. I'm not a depressive, I tried it for like five or six days, and by the sixth day I started seeing tracers like when you're on acid..." (Select's May 1994 edition).
Rohypnol is tasteless when dissolved in drink.
One tablet in a drink is enough to confuse and disorientate a person.
It is that Kurt ordered champagne and for a bell boy to fill a prescription of Rohypnol, Courtney's prescription.
It was said at the time that Love, Frances Bean and Micheal Dewitt joined Kurt in Rome. If these were ordered by phone, then DeWitt, could have ordered them, and Kurt could have been oblivious to it.
It was only after Kurt's death, that it was claimed this was a suicide attempt.
Courtney and the Press:
It seems as if everytime the press gets a lead or something useful to the case, Courtney covers it up.
Coincedence? I think not.

My Conclusion: This is my opinion- I believe that Kurt Cobain was murdered, he could not have physically or mentally put the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. The circumstances are just to suspicious to rule this a suicide, I believe Tom Grant should pursue taking Courney Love and Micheal Dewitt to court, even if they aren't tried for murder, they could be tried for conspiracy. Tom would get much support, enough support that the media, this time, cannot cover it up.
