Josh :

Joshua Cruz was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His interest in music began at age 5. He was listening to bands such as The Beatles, The Animals, The Who and Janis Joplin. His interest in music peaked when he was 14 years old, when his father bought a small karaoke microphone which Josh used to sing along to his favorite songs.  In 1996, he met Jeff Plana, who later became a good friend, and who introduced him to the world of Punk Rock. This prompted him to start his own band in 2000, with his brother, Moses on guitar and Jimmy Acosta on drums. Josh picked up the bass guitar midway through the year. After a year and half, Moi and Josh picked up their current drummer, Rene Haro, and began Cold 40-3.

Moses :

Moses Cruz, also known as Moi, lives in Los Angeles, California. Moi began playing guitar when he was 12 years old. He's always had a deep appreciation for the music business and knew early on that he wanted to pursue a career in music. Moi practices his singing and guitar playing in the morning by himself, and in the afternoon with the rest of his band, Cold 40*3.

He is constantly inspired by people in his life and the bands he listens to, including: Blink 182, NOFX, New Found Glory, Saves the Day and many more.

The people who play a big role in his life are his family, friends and, of course, the other band members. When Moi isn't practicing he's usually working for CSC, the yellow jacket security company, with his brother Josh, hanging out with his friends, or working on his 1969 Camaro.

Rene :

Rene Haro lives in Alhambra, California. He's been playing drums for a few years and has always loved music. Prior to Cold 40*3, Rene sang in the band, Social Injustice, and played drums for The Crooks. Rene is open to a wide range of music, from skatepunk to psychobilly; hardcore to underground hip-hop, ska to anything else that is good. In Rene’s spare time he likes to draw, hang out with friends, play guitar, and skateboard. A lot of Rene’s musical inspiration comes from The Vandals, D.R.I., and Aggravated Assault.
