Yakan Chiwa.... the place of and for lovers.It is said that centuries ago, two lovers who were forbidden to be together, ran away to this place, and here, they were blessed by the gods, for they knew that their love was pure for each other. This is the place where they wed and lived happily ever after. When they died their spirits stayed on this island, welcoming all those whom are true lovers. It is said that at night, you can hear them walk along the shore as they did so long ago and when the ocean crashes against the rocks, that is them expressing their never ending love for each other.
Today, lovers from around the world come here to have their marriage and love blessed for all eternity. Even on occasions, Karamin and Isirinas have been known to occupy the wedding if they know that the love is true.
