Hello! My name is Cassandra and I am the creator of this ridiculous website! I suppose that this section should list some basic facts about me, while the rest will give you more insight into my life.
Well, I was born in New Rochelle, New York on October 16, 1982. I am openly telling you how old I am, for my innocent little mind cannot fathom the negative consequences of this, though I imagine there are some. Anyway, I lived up in Peekskill, NY until I was two-and-a-half. My parents and I then moved to Parsippany, New Jersey. Oh happy day!!
I love New Jersey. Ever since I left for college in Connecticut, I have begun to appreciate my Jersey more and more. :) This may sound incredibly pathetic, and I assure you that it is. Yet, how can anyone deny the insurmountable grandeur of this state (see my NJ page)? All right, I think I will get beaten up by lots of annoyed friends if I don't change the subject, hehe.
I also love to swim, listen to music, see friends, hang out with my mommy, study (hey, sometimes it is fun!), and be alone at times. :) Musically, I am completely and continually fascinated and moved by the work of The Smashing Pumpkins and Pink Floyd. (That was a passive sentence...gosh, I shouldn't do that.) Other favorites include Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana and much of the early-mid 90's alternative movement, in addition to some of the influential rock music of the late 60's and 70's, such as Led Zeppelin.
My favorite subject in the world is psychiatric disorders. I'm planning to major in Psychology at Conn College. :)
For now, I'm done with partial hospital and summer courses and hard at work here at Conn. I continue along the road to recovery.
I think that I've told you a lot about myself. Random stuff includes my past screwed-up sleeping schedule and the fact that I don't get along very well with my 14 year old sister. What else? I love cats, I'm half Italian, and I'm both an atheist and politically conservative (figure that one out). So, that's about it! I thank you and hope that you were thoroughly engrossed in my bio. :-P Ciao!
