The sun shines bright on a beautiful morning.Eve looks out of the loft window at the city around with a mug of coffee in her hands and sighs. Alex and Craig however are sitting on the couch watching television

Alex - Some of these television shows are bogus. I mean Hollywood always has demon attacks happen in California.

Craig - And you'll notice all the Cop shows happen in New York

Alex - Right! I mean excuse me, New York is not some paragon of law and order.

Craig - Except the whole Law and Order series takes place in New York

Alex - Its just all so unrealistic. I mean Power Rangers? Really! What's up with that

Craig - Don't even get me started on that

Eve looks over to Alex and Craig incredulously and rolls her eyes

Eve - You sound ridiculous. Who cares about what's happening in (gestures to the television)whatever that is. There are real people who need real help here and now

Alex - She has a point

Craig - (Laughs realising the conversation is ridiculous) Always concerned about the people aren't you Eve?

Eve - (more serious) Well I have made it my mission. That's why I think I should begin with bringing the word of Eli to the masses again.

Craig - Um, Alex did you happen to mention to Eve how many souls there are on earth in the 21'st century.

Alex - I didn't give an exact number

Eve - How many are there exactly?

Alex - Uh . . .exactly is a little hard to do, approximately it's around over . . . . billions

Eve - WHAT?!?

Alex - I said there's a lot of souls

Eve - How am I get the message of love across to all these people of the world and still fight Lucifer's demons here?!

Alex - Well, there's always global networking

Eve - What?

Alex - Set up a web site

Eve - yeah . . . again, WHAT?

Craig - Not a bad idea. This is also a good way to get you involved with using a computer. Its an essential skill to have in this time.

Eve - Computer? That thing that has the internet.

Craig - Yeah. So, Alex has already given that lesson?

Alex - As you can see from still not knowing what a web site is she still hasn't got it down

Eve - Alex and I were on the internet looking for places where I could get a weapon.

Craig - You will need a proper weapon. What were you thinking of Alex?

Alex - Something a little more effective then a hand gun.

Craig - Did you find anything?

Alex - Well, there are a few auctions taking place, several have collections of turn of the century weapons. And there is one guy who specializes in swords from the 17th century. This time though, I was thinking about a museum. There is one in Manhattan that has a lot of weapons in peak condition and they are auctioning them off. Two swords called the Phoenix swords are being auctioned off this week. They look good for Eve.

Craig - What?

Alex - The Phoenix Swords. Not much is known about them but . . .

Craig suddenly runs out of the loft with no explanation of where he is going.

Cut to a museum at night. Fade to inside the museum at a security post. Two security guards are at their post surrounded by monitors. On each of the monitor screens shows different parts of the museum. One of the guards lean back on his chair and closes his eyes. The other slides over to the coffee machine to get more coffee. We angle in on one of the monitors that display two swords in a glass case. The monitor unnoticed by the guards flickers for a moment then goes back to displaying the swords. Pan up to blackness and fade to the rooftop where a figure in black is beside a powerbox. He unhooks some of the wires from the power box and puts them back in a knapsack. He then moves over to the skylight. Cut back to inside the museum. We pan around them museum until we come around to the Phoenix swords. Both are enclosed in the glass case and bathed in a soft light. A rope drops in front of the case. We pan up to see an open skylight and a dark figure climbing down the rope. Pan down to swords again as the figure stops just above the glass case. The figure cuts a circle through the top of the glass case creating a hole in which afterwards the figure pulls both swords out of the case. He ties them to his waist then pulls himself right side up and begins to climb up the rope out of the museum the two security guards not knowing a thing.

Fade out of this scene and into a room. We pan around to the dark figure putting the swords in a wooden cabinet. He turns around and takes off his mask. It's Craig.

Cut to the next morning. Alex and Eve walk down the hallway and stop outside Craig's apartment door. After knocking several times and getting no answer Alex looks to Eve and shrugs before she opens the door. Both are surprised to find it unlocked.

Alex - (walks into Craig's apartment with Eve behind her then shouts a little) Craig, keeping your door unlocked is not a safe practice to have in New York.

Eve - Maybe Craig just trusts his neighbors

Alex - He's being stupid

Eve - (calls out) Craig are you up? We wanted to know if you'd like to come with us to the auction. We're going to see if we can get the swords.

Alex - COME ON!! GET YOUR LAZY ASS OUT OF BED!!!!(Eve winces at Alex's loud voice and Alex looks to Eve after still getting no answer) Honestly he's worse then me sometimes. You hold on here. I'll go drag him out of bed(walks into Craig's bedroom)

Eve walks into the middle of the living room and looks around Craig's apartment. She runs her hands over the top of the T.V. set and looks at the books on the bookshelf. She looks over to the window but past the window in the corner of the room she spots a large wooden cabinet with the door slightly open. She walks over to it and opens the cabinet doors all the way to find the two Phoenix swords there. She recognizes them. Confused, Eve looks back to Craig's room hearing Alex from inside and then turns back to look more closely at the swords. Both swords display long silver blades but the handle of one sword has silver wings with red, orange and yellow etchings. The other displays a black handle with black wings.

Meanwhile, Craig is dead asleep on his bed. Alex grabbed the pillow out from under his head and hit him over the head with it.

Craig - (snorts) Wha? What the . . . ?

Alex - Wake up!!

Craig grabs the pillow from Alex and puts it over his head

Alex - (sighs) Come on get your ass out of bed!!!

Craig - (from under the pillow)No!

Alex - What is wrong with you? It's not like you went patrolling last night. I did!! Now get up!! Eve and I were wondering if you wanted to come with us to the auction to get the Phoenix swords.

Craig - (takes the pillow of his head) Eve is here? Where is she?

Alex - In the living room

Craig - (remembering the swords in his cabinet) Crap!( jumps out of bed and runs out of his room)

Back in the living room Eve looks at both swords and moves slowly to pick up the one with the black winged handle. Craig runs in with Alex behind him

Craig- NO!!!

Eve stops suddenly looking started. She pulls her hands away as Craig comes over and shuts the doors

Eve - Craig, why do you have the Phoenix Swords?

Alex - What?

Craig - Just leave it alone.

Alex walks over and pushes Craig out of the way and opens the cabinet door revealing the two swords.

Alex - (turns to Craig) They weren't supposed to be auctioning off the swords until today. Why do you have them? Or better yet how did you get them?

Craig - You wouldn't understand

Eve - Craig did you steal these?

Craig doesn't answer but just turns away

Alex - Oh my god! Craig, what the hell are you THINKING?!?

Craig - Like I said, you wouldn't understand.

Alex - Understand? What's to understand? You just stole two priceless artifacts. I'm surprised you didn't get caught!

Craig - I took care of it. I put the video monitors on a loop so the guards wouldn't know what I was doing.

Eve - Video monitors?

Craig - And I came in from the skylight so I wouldn't set off the motion detectors

Eve- Motion detectors?

Craig - They shouldn't know the swords are gone until this morning.

Eve - Would some one please explain to me what you two are talking about?

Alex - That doesn't make it right Craig. That doesn't make everything okay

Craig - Trust me. It would have been a lot worse if someone else got the swords

Eve - We should return them

Craig - No!

Alex - Eve is right. I'm taking these back and hope I don't get arrested for your mistake!!

Alex reaches for the swords

Craig - Stop!

Alex picks up the sword with the silver handle then looks back to Craig confused

Alex - What?

Craig let's out a sigh of relief and takes the sword from Alex and puts it back in the cabinet

Craig - Let me make this clear to both of you. I don't want you touching these swords. You keep your hands off them and you keep away from them. These swords will not be used or returned. They are staying here with me untouched.

Craig walks away and Alex grabs him by the arm and turns him back around.

Alex - Have you lost your mind? You haven't done anything like this in ages why would you start again now?

Cut back to Eve as Alex and Craig continue arguing. The voices fade out to her and she hears a sound. It's faint but it sounds dark and distant. She looks to the Phoenix Sword with the dark handle. Curious and drawn to the sound she reaches for the dark sword

Cut back to Craig and Alex who are still arguing

Craig - Don't go there Alex that was along time ago

Alex - Yeah, well maybe I'm just making sure history doesn't repeat itself.

Craig looks over past Alex and sees Eve about to pick up the dark Phoenix Sword

Craig - EVE NO!!

Eve picks up the sword. As she lifts it out of the cabinet a black smoke seeps out of the sword. Slowly at first the smoke comes out but then it starts streaming out in clouds of black smoke circling around Eve. Eve is panicked but still holds on to the sword. She smoke seeps into Eve and disappears from sight. Eve's body suddenly goes rigid with pain and she shouts out. A wind picks up around Eve and a dark glow surrounds her. Alex and Craig look on with shock. Craig runs toward Eve but as he reaches her within the glow he's thrown off with a blast unable to get close to Eve. Eve falls to her knees as the black glow fades. Eve stands up slowly with her head cast down. When she looks up her eyes have gone totally black.

COMMERCIAL

Eve stands there with black eyes taking deep breaths as if she was breathing for the first time. She looks at her surroundings then down to her hands. As she looks up her eyes fade from black to their original colour. As she speaks the voice is not her own.

Eve - It feels good to breath again, to feel again. I can feel sensations flow through my body.

Craig - That body doesn't belong to you Raven!!

Eve (Raven) - It does now!

Craig charges toward Raven but Raven lifts up her hand and throws a ball of red energy at him. He flies back taking the full blast crashing into the book shelves.

Alex - CRAIG!!(looks to Eve now Raven with fury) I don't know who you are but you're going to pay for that!

Alex jumps up and kicks the dark phoenix Sword out of Raven's hand. Alex then makes a move to punch her but Raven blocks the hand and grabs Alex by the throat with her other hand. As Raven chokes Alex she lifts her off the ground. Craig gets up from his spot where he landed on the floor. He rolls over and kicks up kicking Raven in the stomach causing her to let go of Alex. Alex falls to the ground coughing. Raven punches Craig then turns him around and kicks the back of his knee caps making him fall to his knees. She then grabs him and pulls him up by his hair. With her other hand she puts it to his forehead and concentrates for a moment. Her eyes snap open with surprise and rage.

Eve (Raven) - You're of her line!!!2000 YEARS I HAVE BEEN IN THAT SWORD AND I AM STILL HAUNTED BY HER MEMORY

Craig - And even if you kill me there are more of the same line who will fight you (Craig grabs behind him and grabs the back of Eve's head and flips her over causing her to let go of him) Let Eve go!!!

Eve (Raven) - NO!!!

Raven gets up and produces a large sphere of red energy. She throws it at Alex and Craig who both dodge out of the way. After the blast goes through the wall Raven visibly weakens.

Craig - Has 2000 years being stuck in a sword make you a little slow? I think your powers have dulled a bit

Eve (Raven) - This body . . . powers of good rival my own . . . my powers are being cancelled out . . .

Raven looks toward the sword lying on the ground. Craig sees it too. They both make a move for it but Raven reaches it first.

Eve(Raven) - We will finish this later and then I will make sure that all of your line is eliminated

Raven concentrates all of her energy into the sword and vanishes in a sphere of black fire.

Alex gets up from the place where she dodged to on the floor

Alex - Would you mind telling me what the hell that was?!!!

Craig - More like who

Alex - Excuse me!!!

Craig - We don't have time for this right now. With Raven using her body, Eve is in danger

Alex- Well no duh!!! Would you mind telling me who Raven is?

Craig - We don't have time for this!!

Alex - Well you better make some time! I don't want to go up against some psycho chick who's taken over the body of the woman who is supposed to save the world and not know what I am facing!!

Craig - (takes the other Phoenix Sword from the cabinet) Raven is an evil shamaness. When she died her spirit became embedded in the Dark Phoenix Sword over 2000 years ago.

Alex - Why did you take them?

Craig - It's complicated.

Alex - Then enlighten me!

Craig - (sighs) In ancient times there was a great warrior known as The Phoenix Warrior. She had an unusual telepathic connection with the Phoenix Bird. With a gift from Ra, a sword that could change into any weapon desired(holds up the Phoenix Sword) she travelled the world in a quest for peace. One Phoenix Warrior named Maria was hunted by Raven. Raven believed that whoever had the Phoenix Sword had the power to control the Phoenix Bird and access had to immortality. Raven created her own Phoenix Sword. It's powerful because it was created from Ra's eternal flame but it was evil. An epic battle took place in Egypt. The Phoenix Bird and Maria positioned Raven in a spot where the Phoenix Bird could burn her alive. Raven turned into ashes and her spirit became embedded in the dark sword.

Alex - I've never heard of this legend before.

Craig - Hardly anyone had. The dark Phoenix Sword is the reason. When the Phoenix Warrior left Egypt she left the dark sword in the care of the temple of Ra. Maria's son returned to reclaim the dark sword for safe keeping. They learned that Ra had put a curse on the sword. Raven's spirit was very powerful and was working to get out of her prison in the sword. The curse was that anyone not of the Phoenix Warrior's line would become possessed with Raven's spirit if they touch the dark sword.

Alex - But you were able to touch it. Obviously because you stole them, so how . . . . Wait. Something that Raven said. She said that you are of her line. Raven was referring to the Phoenix Warrior, Maria. Craig are you? . . .

Craig - (nods) Yeah. I'm a descendent of the Phoenix Warrior. My great aunt, my grandmother's elder sister was the last one to have the swords. She inherited them. Its passed down the generations to keep the sword out of the wrong hands. She always kept them locked away. She died before she got a chance to make her will and her belongings were removed from her home. We never knew what happened to the swords. Somehow that museum got them. Luckily they were locked in the glass case that my Aunt always kept them in. But I had to get them before they were auctioned off, before someone opened that case and unleashed Raven.

Alex - Looks like that happened anyway. You should have told us from the start Craig. This could have been prevented. You've got to trust me Craig and you have to trust Eve.

Craig - I know I know.

Alex - So what about Eve now?

Craig - Raven forced her way into Eve's body. She is not meant to sustain Raven's spirit. She could die but Raven won't stay in Eve body before that happens. You heard Raven. Eve's powers of good and Raven's own dark powers cancel each other out. Raven will get a new body then kill Eve. We've got to stop her before either of that happens

Alex - How are we going to find her?

Craig - (picks up the good Phoenix sword) Raven didn't take this sword. Both swords are bound by the same force. This sword can act as a homing beacon for the other.

Alex - How does it work?

Craig - I going to be concentrating my energy into the sword so stay close to me.

Craig concentrates his energy into the sword and him and Alex begin to glow with a bright light. In a flash of light a big ball of fire engulfs Craig and Alex and takes them to Raven's location.

Cut to the sun has beginning to set, fade out. Fade in to inside an old dark warehouse, A ball of black fire appears in the warehouse and crashes into the ground. The fire fades leaving Raven in Eve's body on her knees panting on the ground. She gets up still unsteady.

Eve(Raven) - I need a new body. This one is hard to control. She is fighting me.(looks at her hands) Who are you?

Raven looks up and we close in on her eye. From our point of view we are sucked into her eye through a tunnel of black and yellow lights into a black domain. We see Eve inside looking around her surroundings wildly looking for a way out. She stops short for a second when she hears faint voices. She swiftly turns around and sees her memories displayed on the wall

Marga - She raided our village at night. Some of our best warriors were killed!

Varia - They were the lucky ones.

Varia - Well if it isn't Livia

Eve - I'm Eve the Messenger of Eli

Pan back over to Eve in the dark domain. She looks around in horror.

Eve -NOOOO!!!!!

We are sucked out of the tunnel of black and yellow lights and out of Eve's, now Raven's, eye. Raven gasps.

Eve(Raven)- You're the Messenger!! And you were brought here through a spell. You're spirit travelled through time and space was given form! That's perfect! I can use that spell to give myself a new body. I can use the essence that is still within the dark Phoenix Sword and a stand of this hair to give me form!!

Raven, in Eve's body, walks around in circles and laughs

Eve(Raven) - Once I have my body back I can look for the Phoenix bird and I once I kill the Messenger of Eli my fallen sisters will be avenged and my name will forever be remembered throughout the ages.(forms a ball of fire in her hand and throws it up to the roof blasting a hole right through it. She sees night approaching.) And to perform a traditional shamaness spell all I need is the moonlight.

Cut to sometime later when the full moon begins to pass over the hole in the roof. Raven looks up

Eve(Raven)- It's beginning.

Raven picks up the sword and jabs it into the ground in a circle of fire wood. She throws a few fire sparks from her hand at the wood and it lights on fire creating a circle of fire around the dark Phoenix Sword. She takes a hair out of her head and throws it into the circle of fire. The hair swirls around into flames and turns into sparkles then swirls out of the flames and around the sword. Raven begins a low chant and dances around the fire. Dark screaming spirits come out of the fire and fly around the warehouse and then into the fire and encircle the sword. Raven continues dancing as the moon inches closer to be positioned right over the hole overhead.

Cut to outside the warehouse. A sphere of fire appears in the sky and sets itself down on the street in the Bronx outside this old warehouse. The fire disappears and Alex and Craig are left standing there. Craig lowers the sword and looks around at his surroundings. Alex hangs her head and goes over and leans against the wall of the warehouse for support and clutches her stomach.

Alex - Oh I'm going to be sick. Travelling via fire ball is not the way to go!

Craig - I don't get it! Where is she? She should be too weak to go on any further!

Alex - Craig for all we know Raven could have fled the country.

Craig - Impossible! Whether she uses her knowledge or Eve's, both know nothing outside of this city. You have to concentrate your energy into the sword and envision the place where you want to go. Raven needs a place to hide and since she's weak she can go anywhere outside of this city. The original Phoenix sword brought us here. If the dark Phoenix sword is here then so is Raven.

Alex hears moans and groans coming from inside the warehouse

Alex - Craig. Do you hear that?

Craig looks over to the warehouse and walks over joining Alex hearing the sounds too. As he approaches the Phoenix sword begins to light up like a beacon.

Craig - She's here!

Cut to back inside the warehouse. The sparkles and dark spirits swirling around inside the circle of fire rise up and swirl around Raven and then dive back in to the fire. A lights begins to glow in her chest. we pan up to her face and she smiles.

Suddenly the ware house door is slammed open. Alex and Craig walk in. Raven in Eve's body turns around the light still glowing in her chest.

Eve(Raven) - You're too late!!!

Pan up to the hole in the roof. The full moon is exactly over the hole and the light from the moon shines on the circle of fire. The sparkles and spirits weave and spin together and a human body is being formed. The light from Eve's body soars out of her and into the human body. Eve no longer under the control of Raven falls to the ground weak. The human body now with the light inside takes shape and forms in the tall, the very amazon like, blond Raven. She opens her eyes.

In a quick move Craig holds out his hand and says something in Latin calling the dark Phoenix sword too him. The dark Phoenix Sword flies out of the pyre into his hand.

Raven - Oh you have to go!

Raven holds up both her hands and sends a bright red beams streaming from them. Alex dodges out of the way as Craig puts up both swords able to shield himself from the blast. Craig takes the Phoenix Sword and throws it at Raven. In a flask of light the sword disperses in the several metallic shaped stars. A few cut Raven and she screams.

The stars soar back towards Craig and in another flask of light form the Phoenix Sword again. Both swords turn into whips and Craig snaps both whips around. One whip flies around Raven leg and Craig pulls on it, pulling her to the ground. He whips the other one at Raven but she catches it with her hand. She whispers an incantation and a trail of fire is sent up the whip at Craig. Craig pulls both whips away from Raven as they change back into Phoenix swords. Raven jumps up and runs toward Craig. She jumps in the air doing a splits in the air and kicks both swords out of Craig's hands.

Still in the air Raven puts both feet together and kicks Craig in the chest sending him flying back. Craig gets up as Raven runs for the dark Phoenix Sword, Craig runs for the original one. In the meantime Alex jumps up and runs over to help Eve. Raven sees this

Raven - Oh no you don't !!!

Raven sends a beam of light at Alex. It hits her at the feet sending her flying up over Eve and into the far wall.

Craig - ALEX!

Raven sends a blast over to Craig. He holds the Phoenix sword up and it changes into a shield just in time but it is not strong enough against the blast as he is sent back into the wall. Raven calmly walks over to a still unconscious Eve. She raises the dark Phoenix Sword to cut off Eve's head

Raven - And now we will see my name spread across the ages!!

Eve - (Eve's eyes snap open) How about you just fall down for now!!

Eve swings her body around on the ground and kicks the feet out from under Raven. Raven tries to sit up but Eve on her knees kicks the sword out of her hand then kicks her in the face knocking her down again. Eve gets up swiftly.

Craig runs to get the dark Phoenix Sword. Raven gets up and spits some blood on the ground.

Raven - Bitch!

Raven throws a series of glowing red spheres at Eve who jumps up and flips over all of them to land in front of Raven. Raven tries to punch as she lands but Eve blocks the punch and flips Raven over. Raven lands on her feet and elbows Eve in the side to back her off. Raven sees Craig pick up the dark sword but Raven whispers the same incantation that Craig did and the the sword flies into Raven's hands and she points it at Eve and begins advancing and swinging at Eve. Eve moves swiftly backward dodging the swipes of the blade and then ducks under the last swipe and kicks Raven in the back sending Raven stumbling to her knees

Craig - Eve! Catch

Craig throws the original Phoenix Sword to Eve who catches it with grace and turns around just in time to block the swipe given by Raven with the dark sword. Eve pushes Raven back with the sword. Raven moves to strike her twice but Eve just spins around and blocks the strikes with the Phoenix Sword. Eve runs up Raven kicking her in the face then as Eve flips back she locks her legs around Raven's neck flipping her over. Both Raven and Eve are on the ground now and Raven is still holding on to the dark sword. Eve flips her legs around and kicks the sword out of Raven's hand and sends it sliding across the floor. Craig catches it.

Eve swings her legs around again only to be caught by Raven. Raven pulls Eve's legs up and flips her over only to have Eve land on her feet then flips forward again kicking Raven in the jaw. Eve comes around to strike Raven when Raven blocks the strike with her hands and kicks the original Phoenix Sword out of Eve's hand.

Eve looks to where the sword fell by Craig who picks that one up as well, then looks back to Raven who falls back in a weak state. Craig notices this too

Craig - Eve! She's less powerful without the sword. All the power she's using up without it is weakening her Her spirit is still attached to the sword. Destroy the dark Phoenix Sword and we can destroy her.(Craig tosses the dark Phoenix sword to Eve)

Eve catches the sword and holds it above her head. Raven is shocked and makes a move to grab it but she falls to the ground weak.

Eve - IN THE NAME OF ELI AND ALL THE POWERS OF HEAVEN I COMMAND THAT THIS EVIL BE CAST IN TO THE DEPTHS OF HELL!!

In a flash of light the dark Phoenix sword turns into a black cloud then streams from Eve hand and into the ground. Along with the spirits screaming and spinning out of it and vanishing.

Raven - NO!!!

Another flash of light flashes through the warehouse blinding everyone. When it fades we find Raven still there on her knees. She stands up wearily and laughs. Eve looks back to Craig who is also shocked!

Craig - How? You should have been destroyed!!

Raven - Stupid boy! I am a shamaness. My ancestors were shamanesses long before the first Phoenix Warrior was born! Do you really think I would be so careless. No, I'm as real as the Messenger here. My spirit from the sword helped bring me form just the same as the talisman of Eli brought the Messenger of Eli to you!!

Craig's eyes widen

Raven - Oh yes! Being attached to little Eve here has some advantages like being able to delve into her memories. That will come in handy!! But for now!!

Raven's hands glow red and she shoots beams of energy from them. Craig throws the Phoenix Sword at the blast. The sword deflects the blast back at Raven who is hit and the sword sails right back to Craig who catches it. Raven gets up looking at both Craig and Eve with venom in her eyes. They get in a defensive stance as she runs toward them but as she jumps she turns in to a raven and flies out of the hole in the roof.

Craig - Damn!

Craig walks over to Alex who still lying on the ground. She groans slightly as he picks her up. She hangs limply off his shoulder. Eve comes over and puts her other shoulder under Alex to help her out.

Eve - I'm sorry!

Craig - It's not your fault. Are you okay?

Eve - I will be

Alex - (groans waking up) Did I miss the party?

Craig - (smirks a little) Yeah

Alex - Did we win?

Eve- Not exactly

Alex - ( little to no enthusiasm) Crap.

Craig - Let's get out here (raises the Phoenix Sword)

Alex - (stops him) Craig can we just get a taxi? No more travelling via fire ball please

Eve - I'm with Alex on this one

Craig nods and he and Eve with a limp Alex on their shoulders walk out of the warehouse

Back at Alex's loft, Eve and Craig are sitting on the couch and Alex comes over with a bowl of popcorn

Eve - It was really weird. I could feel myself moving, I could hear myself talking but I couldn't control any of it. I felt like I was watching everything I was doing like it was a dream. Raven had complete control.

Craig - I don't know how complete it was. Raven was very weak in your body. Even though she possessed you she couldn't sum up enough dark magic because of your goodness and pure heart. You're more powerful then you are aware of. Raven said it herself. Your powers of good rival her own powers of evil

Eve - I was drawn by the evil. If I hadn't touched that sword none of this would have happened

Alex - If Craig had have trusted us from the start and told us what was going on it would have never come to this

Craig - A mistake I'll never make again. What's important right now is that Raven is on the loose somewhere gathering power and strength. We've got to be ready if she decides to come back for the original Phoenix Sword. We also have to be careful. You especially Eve. She accessed your memories and knows who you are and who you were. Who knows how she'll use it against you.

Eve - I'll be ready. What are you going to do with the Phoenix Sword?

Alex - You wielded it pretty well against Raven. Maybe you should have it.

Eve - It would be too dangerous.

Craig - Eve's right. With the dark Phoenix Sword gone Raven's main objective will be to get the original. Which means I'm going to keep it in a very safe place.

Alex - Well I suppose you could use one of our old swords

Craig - No. We need something made to fit Eve. Something she can really use in this time and have it be effective.
