Pan over New York city at night. Cut to a large building. In the dark of night we don't know where it is or what it looks like, all we see is it's shape. Fade to inside the building. A spout of fire shoots up then dies down to show a large ceremonial pyre. It lights up the room in a soft glow. We pan through the fire and see Raven. She is dressed all in leather and she stands with an air of confidence.

Raven - Many of you are strong woman but I have turned you into warriors. You all have purpose but now you have direction. It is time for the women of this age to break free from oppression and bring back the days when we were strong. When we were Amazons!!

A loud war cry is heard through out the building and we pan out and around the room. It is filled with women decked out in leather, clapping with enthusiasim, smiling and looking toward their leader with pride.

Raven - (puts her hands up to silence their cries of joy)But there is still much that needs to be accomplished. An enemy, exists in this city. She claims to be one of us, strong and liberated but she is a pretender! In the past she sold our ancestors into slavery and now in the future she threatens to wipe us out.

Amazon - What do we do?

Raven - Your mission is to track down and kill the one who threatens us and our sisterhood.

Two Amazons step forward. They are known as Shannon and Elise respectively

Shannon - I will take on this task!

Elise - And I!

Raven - (nods with satisfaction) And you will be rewarded! You will rise as leaders and make a new world!

Elise - Who threatens us?

The fire shoots a flame up in the air and the flame changes shape to reveal a familiar face

Raven - Livia!

Pan across New York during the early morning. We fade to a spot where a large decrepit building stands between some apartment buildings. We fade to inside. There are two levels to the first floor. We pan around on the higher level with its rotting boards. On the lower level dust sprinkles down from the beams and spray paint and graffiti cover the the walls. We pan around to finally rest on Alex, Craig and Eve who stand in the middle of the floor. Alex has a happy look on her face for she seems to be quite proud with her self and Craig and Eve have a look on their face that crosses between disgust and confusion.

Alex - Well, what do you think?

Eve - (looks around) Does yuck qualify? I haven't seen a place this run down since my grandmother's tavern

Craig - What were you thinking when you bought this place?

Alex - I was thinking about Eve

Eve - Thanks a lot

Alex - No! I mean you're going to need to a job. You need to make some money to survive in this time but I know you want to be able to help people and turn them to a better path. That won't be an easy task if you're spending most hours flipping burgers at Mac Donald's

Eve - I thought we talked about this! I'm not flipping burgers!!

Alex - Exactly. But I've figured out a way for you to make money and preach

Eve - I don't want to make money off of preaching.

Alex - Picture this place as a Youth Centre. We have a gym, a juice bar, hold dances, hold karate classes, dance classes. We charge a fee for these services and make a profit. But we can also hold self help groups, play sessions, non profit kids programs. Kids can come here for free and hang out, which gets them off the streets. Eve can council troubled people who need advice and all the while spread the word of love truth and hope. You know, the sappy stuff. The point is we can help people better their mind body and soul and make money!

Eve - (thinks about it) You know, that makes alot sense. That's actually a good idea.

Alex - I've been known to have them sometimes.

Eve - I like it. Craig what do you think?

Craig - I think it sounds like a lot of work. Are you sure you're up to organising a thing like this Alex? It's a pretty big job.

Alex - I've already hired a crew for renovation, made a list of supplies and equipment, I've contacted employment agencies to start interviewing staff and I've made preparations to start advertising.

Craig- (surprised) It's sounds like you've already put some thought into this. You really are serious about this aren't you? Do you really want to spend your inheritance on this? What if it doesn't work out?

Alex - Craig, you're always saying that I should be more responsible and that I should do something important with my money. I think I can really make a difference doing something like this. I would have loved to have a place like this to go to when I was a kid. I think I can really have something here, with Eve's help of course.

Craig - (smiles)Then go for it and let me know what I can do to help.

Alex - Tell all your dumbass students and spread the word!

Eve laughs while Craig just smiles and shakes his head

Eve - So what do we do first?

Shannon - (voice from the shadows)How about drop dead!

Alex Craig and Eve, all startled, look to the voice in the shadows at the far side of the room.

Elise - As long as we're here, we own this building

Elise and Shannon come out of the shadows dressed in leather pants top and jackets.

Alex - I have paperwork that says you don't

Eve - We're not looking for trouble.(approaches Shannon and Elise slowly) I'm sure we can settle this rationally

Elise - You have no right to talk to us Bitch of Rome!!

Eve stumbles back startled. Craig and Alex just look to each other with worried looks

Alex - Okay that can't be good

Eve - (sighs) You know this Bitch of Rome thing is getting really old

Shannon - And we will make you nothing but a memory

Elise - Long Live the Amazons!!!

Shannon and Elise run to attack Eve screaming like banshee's. Alex grabs Shannon by the arm flipping her over and breaking her arm. The other attacks Eve throwing punches. Eve blocks them.

Eve - I don't want to fight you!

Craig flips over and grabs Elise away from Eve and rams her head into a board breaking the board. Elise stumbles away from Craig. She falls to the ground and looks up. Some of the splinters in the wood scratched her in the face and she has streaks of blood on her face. She gets up and runs out of the building. Shannon clutching her broken arm also runs out.

Craig and Alex help Eve up.

Craig - I think we've got trouble.

Alex - Ah gee no kidding. What was your first clue?

Eve - They know who I am.

Alex - Eve you've got to fight back. They could have kicked your ass.

Eve - I can't Alex. They were just teenagers. They're not demons, they're just confused!

Craig - They know who you are and what's even stranger, who you used to be! We need figure out who those girls were and why they wanted to kill you.

Fade to the next day. Eve and Craig are sitting in a coffee shop in a secluded corner. They are looking through mounds of newspapers frowning. Alex walks up to them. She is wearing a knee length skirt and a blazer. Her hair is tied back in a bun and she is wearing dark rimmed glasses.

Alex - Hi

Eve and Craig look up blankly and look down at the papers again. They look back up in shock!

Craig - Alex!(squints his eyes) Is that you?

Alex - Who else is it going to be? You called me and asked me to meet you here

Craig -I almost didn't recognise you.

Alex - I had a meeting with the bank about a small business loan, I had a meeting with the business bureau about my business plan and a meeting with the construction crew to go through the renovations. I thought it would help to be taken seriously if I was dressed professionally.

Craig - So you're still going ahead with this? Even when we've got serious issues to deal with?

Alex - Yeah yeah, the world's in peril but its also Tuesday and I had meetings! What's with the newspapers, it looks like your running a news stand.

Craig - I was thinking about those girls who attacked Eve yesterday. Besides us, who knows the most about Eve and who she used to be?

Alex - Raven

Craig - And Raven used to be an Amazon Shamaness. Those girls shouted about the Amazons!

Alex - You think there's a link between that incident and Raven?

Craig - Not until I saw this!

Craig opens up the paper to a full page ad! WW stands out in big black letters

Alex - The W.W.?

Eve - The Warrior Women

Craig - This group is dedicated to raising women up through the ranks. They want women to be leaders, fighters, captains of industry!

Alex - (offended) What wrong with that?

Craig - Nothing! Except the woman who is running it!

Craig holds up a picture of Raven on the front page of a paper with the headline "Empowered woman ushers in a new era for women."

Alex - Oh! Great advertising!

Eve - She did an interview about training women to be more then just leaders, she wants them to be warriors. Sound familiar? Like Amazons maybe?

Craig - She's training an army!

Alex - Seriously?

Eve - A lot of woman in New York are really taken with the ways of the Warrior Woman!

Alex - Never underestimate anyone who wants to break free from oppression when someone has handed them the means

Eve - I thought the next time we would run into Raven she would try to get the Phoenix sword.

Craig - Alex and I aren't a match for her and she knows it! You're the only one who could beat her! Raven is building this group of Warriors to kill you. With you out of the way she'll have better access to the Phoenix Sword. With the sword and an army she could take over this city and maybe even the world.

Eve - Why would women follow her? Some have to know how wrong some of her actions are

Craig - It doesn't surprise me. Raven knows the darkest part of human nature and she knows how to manipulate it. I remember some on the legends my grandmother used to tell me. She's just like any other corrupt politician luring people in with a silver tongue and empty promises. Back in ancient times she convinced many amazons that she was going to use the power of the Phoenix to strengthen the Amazon Nation.

Alex - Yeah but history lessons aside, these chicks are trying to kill Eve in the here and now.

Eve - So what do we do? I don't want to fight them. That would just convince them that I'm Livia all the more.

Craig - Strategically speaking we can't attack her out right, she has a public face and we can't expose the supernatural. We also can't go to the police and say she's trying to kill Eve. There's just no proof. We need to expose them.(looks at one of the papers) Raven is holding a rally. All woman are welcome and there will be loads of reporters covering the event. We have to show the people that this group is really looking to destroy woman.

Eve - But we have no evidence of that either

Craig - In the past the Amazons she convinced to join her renegade tribe would kill kings. They would seduce them then kill them in order for a woman to take control. She convinced them that if men had power then oppression over women would follow. I'd bet anything she's building this organization to kill men in power

Alex - She has a strong case and she would be very convincing. History is proof. I'm all for womens rights but this is ridiculous. One of us needs to go in there and expose her

Eve - Alex, she'll kill us the moment one of us steps in there.

Alex - But she hasn't really seen me has she? They won't recognise me if I'm dressed like this. You guys barely did. I can go in there and do a little re con. I'll convince them I want to join and they'll have to let me in on the plans

Craig - This is not "Mission Impossible". That's dangerous!

Alex - We're in danger every night! Danger is part of the game! We need evidence to expose them! Right now, I'm the best person to get it

Craig - (gives in) I don't like it but you're right. You can take care of yourself and you are the one they wouldn't recognize. And really, its the only feasible plan we've got. Wear a wire so we can record your conversations. And we'll be close by, if anything goes wrong we'll be there within minutes to help!

Alex - Got it!

Eve - This isn't a good idea

Alex - Well they can't all be winners.

Fade to Alex standing out side "The W.W." later in the afternoon. Now in pants rather then a skirt she adjusts the wire under her shirt. She takes a deep breath and walks in the center.

"The W.W." is like a big gym. Women are everywhere. They are sparring and training with swords and staffs. The walls are decorated with ancient Amazon writings and tapestries.

A woman walks up to Alex.

Woman - Hello. I'm Charlene. Welcome to the Warrior Women!

Alex -(exaggerated enthusiasm) Wow! So this is the W.W. I've heard so much! You guys are really changing things for women. I want to join!!

Cut to Craig and Eve inside Craig's car a few blocks away. They are listening in on the conversation. Craig rolls his eyes while Eve looks worried at Alex's acting ability.

Craig - Tone it down a bit Alex. You're going to blow your cover!

Cut back to inside the W.W.

Charlene - So you're looking to be empowered!

Alex - I want to kick some ass! Men suck!

Charlene - You're angry at how women are treated in society. I don't blame you.

Alex - I know this guy and he questions everything I do! Every plan I have, every choice I make! I'm sick of being put down!

Cut to outside to Craig and Eve in the car

Craig - Do you think she's talking about me?

Eve - (winces) I'm sure she's just trying to sell the story.

Cut back to inside the Center

Charlene - We have an elite group on women who are working toward women ascending to prominence. We could use more warriors.

Alex - I want in!

Charlene - We train like the Ancient Amazons.

Alex - Cool! I'm really . . .uh . inspired by you girls . . . I mean women (smiles a big fake smile)

Charlene - You must be tested to see if you can withstand the trials of an Amazon

Alex - Bring it on!

Suddenly a group of woman surround Alex looking as if they are about to attack

Charlene - These women will be the ones to test you

Alex - Oh Man! I thought it was going to be multiple choice!!

COMMERCIAL

An Amazon runs toward Alex with a staff raised above her head with the intent of hitting Alex. Alex catches the staff as it comes down over her. She kicks the Amazon in the stomach causing the amazon to let go of the staff as she doubles back grabbing her stomach. Alex then swats two other amazons,who were advancing, directly in the face knocking them down. She then knocks the weapon out of the hand of a fourth amazon and jabs her in the stomach. Alex then does a splits in the air kicking the last two amazons in the face making them fall several feet back.

As Alex lands back into her defensive stance she hears clapping behind her. She turns around.

Raven - Impressive. So you want to join our sisterhood? You wish to learn the ways of the strong, the ways of a warrior, the ways . . . of an Amazon!

Alex - (little out of breath) Yeah

Raven - Why?

Alex - Why? Uh . . .Well . . I 'm sick of being used and under appreciated. I don't want to take crap from anyone anymore just cause I'm a gal.

Raven - Tell me. Does revenge sound good to you?

Alex - (Sensing she is getting close to something and nods)Oh yeah!

Raven - We can help you get revenge on the men who have wronged you but here we strive for more. Men are weak, corrupt. We must take power for ourselves. It begins at the rally when the "mayor" comes to see our progress.

Alex - What's happening?

Raven - (dismisses the question)If you want to be a part of our community you must be initiated. I see you are already a formidable warrior. If you wish to be one of us, you must go through a trial. Help us to eliminate one who wronged us long ago.

Raven points to a picture of Eve on the far wall. The picture is almost unrecognisable. It had been scribbled on and has arrows and daggers sticking out from it.

Raven - Kill that woman and you're in.

Alex walks up to the picture to get a better look. She is sure it's Eve. We pan in close on the earphone that is in Alex's ear

Craig - (voice) Alex get out of there, she trying to trap you you. We have enough information. We need to start warning officials!

Alex - You know what? I think I've jumped into this whole Amazon thing way to soon. I think I'm going to take a little time to think about this.

Raven - (advances on Alex slowly) What did you say your name was?

Alex sensing she is being found out decides to make a quick exit and backs away from the group that was advancing on her. She backs along the wall to a door near the stage that leads to the back.

Alex - I think I should be leaving now.

Alex opens the door and runs out.

Cut to backstage. Alex closes the door behind her, barricading it and turns around looking for a backdoor out. She notices some blood dripping on the floor. Alex looks up to find the butchered bodies of Elise and Shannon hanging by their necks from the ceiling. Alex recognises them as the amazons who attacked the other day.

Alex - OH MY GOD!!

Raven and the other Amazons burst through the barricaded door.

Raven - They failed to kill your friend the Messenger. They were not fit to be Amazons

Alex turns around to face Raven.

Raven - I knew I recognised you.

Suddenly all the Amazons jump Alex.

Cut back to outside. Craig and Eve rip the head phones off their head from the ear piercing static that filled them!

Eve - Alex was attacked. We have to help her.

Craig - But Eve . . .

Eve - We have to help her!

Craig - We're out numbered! We need a plan.

Eve - Forget that!(grabs her chakram and runs out of the car to find Alex)

Craig - Eve! Crap! (gets on the cell phone quickly)

Eve gets to the Center. It is surrounded by reporters spectators and cameramen all waiting to get in for the rally. As the doors open Eve keeps her head down as she intermingles with the crowd as they all make their way inside. Inside Eve looks around the centre for a place where she could get out of the crowd. She sees the stage. She ducks out of the crowd and heads for the stage door. She walks in unnoticed and she closes the door before Raven walks up the steps on the other side of the stage with the stage curtains closed behind her.

Cut to Eve backstage. She closes the door and turns around. She is looking around when she spots one Amazon guarding something. Eve ducks out of sight from her and tries to look around to see what she is guarding. Eve finally looks up and lets out a small gasp of shock. She sees the two amazons that attacked her hanging by their neck from the ceiling. Behind them she sees Alex hanging by her waist blind folded and unconscious. Eve slowly raises the chakram and throws it at a far wall. The Amazon looks to where the noise came from and leaves to investigate leaving Alex unguarded. Eve's chakram richoches and heads back to her. She catches it.

Eve looks at where the rope was tied that held Alex up. Eve unties the rope and lets Alex down easy. Alex slumps to the floor and Eve runs over to take off Alex's blindfold. Alex is covered in bruises and her lip is cut. Alex starts to wake up.

Eve - (whispering)Alex? Alex are you ok?(cradles Alex slightly)

Alex - (groan) Eve? Eve what are you doing here? You have to get out of here. You're not safe.

Alex and Eve hear Raven speaking.

Raven(voice) - We are entering a new era. An era that is made for women. Women of strength and power..

Eve - (looks up at the butchered bodies again) Are those the two amazons that attacked us?

Alex - Yes. They were killed because they didn't kill you.

Amazon - (points gun at Alex and Eve)Don't move.

Alex - Since when do amazons carry guns?

Eve - (whisper) Guns?

Alex - They're deadly

Amazon - Do you think we're stupid? We carry modern weapons.

Eve, in a quick move, throws her chakram. It richoches of a wall and sails toward the gun. It chops off the end of the gun making it inoperable. The chakram then richoches off another wall flying up and cutting the rope of a sand bag causing it to fall on the head of the amazon. It knocks her out with a loud thud.

This noise does not go unnoticed. Raven turns around to face where the noise is coming from. The crowd breaks out in whispers wondering what is going on

Craig runs into the centre with a raid of police officers behind him.

Police Officer - Hands up! Don't move

At this new development people begin panicking. Raven sees the Mayor of New York beginning to be ushered out.

Cut back to the chakram that richoches again and cuts down the ropes that held the stage curtains. As the curtains fall to the ground Eve catches her chakram. Eve drags Alex back into the shadows. This goes unnoticed by the crowd as they gasp at the sight of the two butchered women.

Craig - (yells to the crowd)This is the new era that is being ushered in? An era of death?

Police officer - (points his gun at Raven) You are under arrest

Police men begin to gather up the Amazons and handcuffing them but Raven pushes some Policemen off her and grabs the gun from one of them and tries to shoot at the Mayor who is being ushered through the crowd. Craig runs over to the Mayor and pushes him out of the way, the bullets barely missing Craig. Raven frustrated throws down the gun and runs off. Eve runs and jumps off the stage and runs after her.

Cut to outside behind the W.W. Eve looks around. There seems to be no sign of Raven anywhere around. Just then Raven jumps down from a tree and attacks Eve from behind, holding a knife to her throat.

Raven - I may not be able to kill the Mayor paving a way for me to rule but I can still follow through with eliminating you! You are mine Messenger or should I say Livia.

Eve - Livia's dead.

Eve throws her head back headbutting Raven in the nose making her let go of Eve. Momentarily distracted by her nose beginning to bleed Raven doesn't notice Eve spinning around fast and doing a roundhouse kick, kicking the knife out of Raven's hand. Eve then runs up Ravens front kicking Raven in the head as Eve flips backwards knocking Raven to the ground. Raven propels her self up by her legs and dodges a punch by Eve. Raven in her crouched position punches Eve in the stomach then uppercuts her chin. Raven then grabs Eve by the hair and tries to ram her head first into the tree but Eve is quick and runs up the tree flipping backward making Raven let go of her hair. Eve then jumps up and spins herself around kicking Raven in the face sending her flying in to the wall. Eve was about to pull Raven up when Raven throws dust in Eve's face causing Eve to fall back and giving Raven enough time to turn into a Raven and fly off. Eve brushes the dust from her face and looks up to the sky squinting at the sunlight and seeing Raven in her animal form flying off.

Eve - (sighs) We'll meet again and next time I'll be ready for you.

COMMERCIAL

Eve runs back into the centre and finds all the of the Amazons in hand cuffs. Alex is leaning on Craig as they walk over to Eve.

Eve - How is everyone? Did anyone get hurt? Did the mayor?

Craig - Everyone's okay including the Mayor. Thankfully no one got hit by all the bullets flying about.

Alex - The mayor wants to give Craig a medal for services as an outstanding citizen but Craig declined!

Craig - Hey, I'm just doing what any decent person should do. I don't want any rewards for that.(Looks to Eve) Are you okay?

Eve - Yeah. I couldn't stop Raven though. She got away again.

Alex - Well the police got most of the "Amazons". I think Raven's psycho sisterhood is down the tubes.

Craig - (to Alex) You almost had be convinced to wanted to join? Did you really mean what you said about me putting you down?

Alex - Only a little.

Craig - You know I trust you with my life

Alex - How about trusting me with mine?

Craig - (smiles a little) Fair enough!

Eve - How did you get the Police here?

Craig - Lt.Jeff Morrison is a good friend of mine. I convinced him that there was suspicous activity. Thanks to you, he believes I wasn't just blowing smoke but you might have to listen to a lecture about vigilante justice later.

Alex, Eve and Craig watch the amazons being taken away and two butchered amazons being cut down and put in body bags.

Eve - I'm just sorry about those two. They died so horribly. I wish I could have saved them

Alex - Hey that isn't your fault. Raven manipulated them.

Suddenly Eve Alex and Craig are swarmed by reporters.

Reporter - How did you know Raven, the leader of The WW, was putting together an organization that was planning to kill men rather then help women?

Reporter2 - How did you know about the plan to assassinate the mayor?

Reporter3 - Why did you turn down the medal offered by the mayor?

Alex, Craig and Eve look from one to another shocked and overwhelmed by the attention and questions.

Eve -(reacting quickly) Instinct. Something about Raven just didn't ring true. We felt it was our duty as women and as people who care about women(gestures to Craig) to check it out. We wanted to do a legitimate investigation and expose her corrupt intentions. But we got caught. We got in a lot of trouble and could have been hurt if it wasn't for the police. No one should take the law into their own hands. But now the WW is down and we hope it's for good.

Alex - Oh Oh Oh! Wait! You might want to check out a new centre in a few months. It will provide councleing for people, a place to work out, and a health bar. A place for a healthy mind, body and soul.

Eve smiles and shakes her head at Alex's shameful advertising. Alex wiggles her eyebrows while Craig gives her a small hug.

Eve Alex and Craig smile at the attention they are receiving as we pan out as the people surround them and applaud their efforts.

Fade to black.
