| >PhELT is an alternative rock band with music that reaches out and grabs the listener with catchy, original hooks and arrangements. Coming from different parts of the world, the four members met by putting adds in newspapers and magazines. They formed the band in hopes of catching a ride on the rock-n-roll train that often departs from the entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles. Guitarist, Rick Johnson, and Adam Holt, relocated from Houston, Texas with only their equipment and dreams with them. Bassist, Kentaro Y. Otsuka moved all the way from Tokyo, Japan and Vocalist/songwriter Brad Coder moved from Columbus, Ohio. After meeting and becoming friends the four began writing songs and diving headfirst into the L.A.music scene. PhELT takes a very melodic, fresh sound and combines thick bass lines, hard hitting drums, catchy guitars, and smooth vocals to create their own music, which is very commercial. Every song is radio friendly and label ready. | The songs sit around the three and a half to four minute range and contain great hooks and arrangements. The sound itself is very marketable but their image is the icing on the cake. All four members have their own unique style, and together the image is flawless. At the center of the group is vocalist Brad Coder who belts out very strong, original melodies and lyrics. With sex appeal and a voice you can not forget he commands the stage like a seasoned veteran. It is also a matter of time before the ground begins to shake due to the impact of this talented young band. Although only recently emerging into the club scene, the response has been nothing short of spectacular. People are drawn to the music and hooked on the stage performance. Together the band has a generous supply of creative energy and endless supply of determination. | >Brad Coder is a young talented Rock Star in the making. He is 21 years old from Columbus Ohio with music influences of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Deftones and Foo Fighters. Growing up in Columbus he played the music scene and conquered it, with his old band Shrill. To better his chance's of success he departed from his band mate's Shrill and moved to Los Angeles California. After six months of looking he found his sound which is titles PhELT. |
