I am Angus Fullbeard, son on Hamish, son of Angus, son of Jock, son of Angus, son of Gordon.

My family is from the White Mountains.

I’ve been adventuring for quite a few years.

I’m a fighter and good at what I do.

I like the group I’m with and even trust a few of them.

I am a follower of Ptarth.

My wilder days are behind me, though I still like the occasional dram.

I am studying military tactics so as I can command troops.

Angus! That old scrote! We’ve had some fun together! He’s trying so hard to be civilized – give it up me old mucker; bad is all it is.

He drinks like a free-flowing sewer, he fights like a whirling dervish and he sings badly. Don’t look too closely in his beard, you might see last weeks dinner….

No, Angus is maturing; he’s still fun, but he’s learning wisdom.

Have to say he’s also one of the people that knows me best…. Not always such a good thing.

A good fighter and a great lass. Should’ve been a dwarf.

Well he’s a dwarf what more can I say? Great partner in a scrap, great drinking buddy but has the usual overdeveloped sense of pride most dwarves have, which can at times get him into hot water.

Angus on Elandria

Generally OK as a wizard but has odd moments, usually when her heritage interferes.

That Rusty tin can who can knock you out from 50 paces just with the smell of his 90% proof breath. That WAS Angus. Now you will find him be-spectacled, squinting into tomes on warfare and strategy; don’t help – he still manages to get into trouble!!

Rough and ready but reliable and redoubtable, even for a dwarf. An unsubtle style and unruly behavior have ever been his trademarks. His prodigious drinking regime is interspersed with disrespectful but witty jibes; some even aimed at me. There are however signs of hope, his burgeoning interest in military tactics has led to his discovery of books and to blessedly quieter encounters with this fearsome dwarf. When all is said and done however, in the heat of the direst battle I can think a few I would rather have on my side.

Loud mouthed, drunken and smelly, but seems to be sobering, and cleaning, just got to work on his mouth!!!!!!!! But a good warrior and loyal friend.

Should forget the magic (which he usually does) and stick with the combat. A good pal and good fun, usually.

A laugh to be with enjoyable, honest, he doesn’t suffer fools gladly. Brave in battle I have high regard for him.

The ‘second’ Quinlara. Important and capable rune-user. Our nanny and friend. I’ll miss her.

Quinlara on Angus

Drunk, quick tempered, willful and proud, but fiercely loyal and an excellent warrior. When Angus matures he will be one of the best of companions. All he lacks now is maturity and at times wisdom. I count myself blessed to call him friend.

Human Priest of Aphrodite. Don’t really know him. Responsible for introducing the group to Aphrodite.

ELRONND ON ANGUS

Why can't all us fighters be more like Angus? Never one to back out of trouble, he charges in weapons at the ready, prepared to fight on until victory is won. And as for drinking, well, I almost kept up with him in the Hog’s Head drinking contest.

She’s great. What you see is what you get. Quite refreshing really, given some of the pompous asses I’ve met in my time!

He complains about my smell, but I’ve had my fare share of pongs from him. He’s a lovable dwarf. He tries to be all rough and tough, but under it all, he has a very strong moral code and sense of right about things. He is honorable, trustworthy and generally treats animals quite well.

Though she’s been good to D’Arcy, I’ve never really felt relaxed when she’s around. Can’t explain it.
