Quest 1: JR Jansen


JR Jansen asks for all the information the woman can give him, then heads off to the camp to spy it out. He lets a band of animals attack the orc camp. The lord won't know a thing, and JR shows charity to the woman afterwards.


This reaction is pretty clear, I can see what JR Jansen would do, even in slightly different situations. Determening experience...



I would ask her where these orcs are and ask her anything that may be relevant (numbers and such). The local lord doesn't like fighting on his lands. So be it, but i can't let these people do this on themselves. I would hide in shadows and scout the area to exactly pinpoint their location. After that i would 'inlist' the aid of our animal friends. To surprise the orcs, i would start the first wave with rather undetectable creatures. Such as birds flying through the air and snakes crawlind through the high grass. Before the orcs now what has hit them, several of them are dead, poisoned or otherwise hurt. The last wave (which should be the last one) consist of bears and other strong predators to finish them off. This way it will look like an animal attack. The villagers are safe. The lord will not suspect any human involvement and some orcs have died. And to top it off, i'll 'aquire' some boots for the lass from the lord as well.
