Eulogy

A man I knew, the man we've feared
Has lain to rest with us here.
Let him live another life,
Worried not of endless stryfe.
This man I knew for many years
Leaves us only saddened tears
Let us kneel, now say a prayer
Then he will know that we care
Tears for rememberance, and tears for joy,
Tears for somebody for this lonely boy
As we sit by our windows and gaze at the rain,
With an ache in the heart, try not to feel the pain.
I know it's hard to say goodbye,
But he's an angel now and he must fly.
And as he journeys into outer space,
May the angels help him find the way.
Let us now bow down our heads
As he's placed into his final bed.
In our hearts he shall live forever,
He is one I will always remember.
